  1. Hey, some people here might not want spoilers! And how do you know that Sazed is against pineapple on pizza?
  2. It would make more sense than U.S. politics do now...
  3. We're sorry, this user has already finished The Hero of Ages.
  4. Welcome to the Shard! What is your favorite icebreaker question?
  5. This is just a thread for translating things. For instance, the first ideal of radiance in Latin: Vita ante mortem, Potentia ante Infermitem, Iter ante destinationem. This is also a place for putting passages in Google Translate, because that always is incredibly silly.
  6. I must state that I like pineapple on pizza. A lot. Here's the secret: if you cut the pineapple into small pieces and then put the pineapple into the oven at a low temperature, most of the liquid evaporates and you get concentrated flavor in your pineapple. Then you can put it on pizza, and it is amazing.
  7. Anmil finished unpacking and headed downstairs with Katie.
  8. You're still doing better than me. I insert random references to Portal 2 and the Stormlight Archive in my D&D campaigns. None of the other players ever have any idea what I'm referencing.
  9. Anmil looked somewhat akward. "Well, I'm almost done. I mostly brought books. And going to the cafeteria would be nice..."
  10. Anmil looked slightly confused. "To answer your questions in order: Anmil, please don't ask, probably turquoise, Camie, and I'd have to get to know you better." Anmil thought for a second. "Actually, seeing as we're in a single dorm room... probably?" Anmil shrugged and started to put their books on the shelf.
  11. Anmil walked into the room, as surly as one could be, and dumped their stuff down onto the other bed. They looked at Katie. "Oh. Hi." said Anmil. They put their dragon, Camie, onto a desk in their private room, and started unpacking. "Sorry about all of this stuff." said Anmil, nodding to their not-insignificant collection of books. "Where would you like me to put all of this?"
  12. I would make sure that there are not any Sleepless nearby. Then I would probably take it to see which one it is. What would you do if you found The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (The encyclopedia for which the sci-fi book is named, not the sci-fi book itself) in your pocket?
  13. I'd be happy to help with this mod. I am bad at 3D modeling, but I'll see what I can do. It looks really cool!
  14. Anmil strode into Greatowl fuming. Camie was perched on their shoulder, trying to cheer Anmil up and failing miserably. Looking at the ground and muttering angrily is not conducive to paying attention to surroundings, and Anmil walked right into a wall.
  15. Well, my username involves the word 'Nerdy' and an obscure D&D race. I have the same username on the Homebrew website D&D wiki. I read way too much, and enjoy math. I play Magic: the Gathering way too much. My life goal is to become a Quantum Physicist. I'd say I'm pretty nerdy.
  16. Thank you for answering the questions! I'm glad you found them helpful.
  17. I like that, but I dunno if that fits the whole obsession with finding her whereabouts. My theory, which is much more tinfoil-y, is as follows: Yelig-Nar can grant all surges. While it is unclear if it can grant Adhesion, Hessi seems to think that he could. Hessi (You may remember her from the Pre-Chapter blurbs) is a great scholar, so we'll go with what she thinks. As Raboniel said, Adhesion is a surge of Honor alone, so the Unmade (or at leas Yelig-Nar, but probably all of them) must have been close to honor before their unmaking. This is further supported by Raboniel saying that she was attempting to Unmake the sibling. This makes it seem like the Unmade were originally spren of similar power. All of this makes it seem like Bo-Ado-Mishram was similar to the Stormfather before her corruption. Thank you for reading this rant.
  18. I really like this system! A few questions: Does stored harvest (Growth?) leak, or does it exist in storage until used? If the former, does the leaking have any effects? How does society function? Is there political tension, either between classical fantasy races and the Mindgardeners, or between the different factions mindgardeners? If so, how severe are the tensions? Does everyone have these abilities? If not, is there a reason? How advanced is the technology? Is there some kind of fabrial-esque tech that works within the magic system? Are there any notable figures? If so, what are they notable for? Thank you for reading through these very poorly thought out questions. As stated earlier, I really like this magic system!
  19. I would inspect it and look for any suspicious-looking fantasy pickpockets nearby. What would you do if you found a slate with hieroglyphics on it in your pocket?
