So in the SP1 post, Brandon said we "might be able to puck up some context of who [Hoid's] talking to" based on some of the comments he peppers in. I'm not sure if that's just like homeworld or if we're talking about a specific character, but the thought did hit me wondering whether Hoid is telling this story on First of the Sun (maybe to our buddy Sixth). Idk does this seem likely to anyone else?

Okay, but as I was reading chapter 96 from Navani's POV at the meeting where she made everyone bring their own chair, the whole thing she had going throughout the scene about "order from chaos" just really felt like the lead in we so often get to Radiants Speaking the Words, and that also feeling like the type of antithesis we often see in a lot of the Ideals, so I'm wondering if that was some foreshadowing of Navani becoming a Radiant. Did anyone else get that vibe? If that is the case, what order do you think that Ideal would go with?

Perhaps we could be looking at this for Era 2, because Brandon has commented that there are some hints throughout at what he's been up to.

Basically just grabbing onto some of that framework to build on, honestly. Harmony seems as good as symbol for low intervention deity as any, so while I'm definitely not talking about literally worshiping Sazed, but the way Pathians in the books talk about him line up pretty well with some of my current thoughts on deity, so I see no problem in picking up some of the lingo.

So I've felt kind of lost spiritually lately, and I'm seriously considering just becoming a Pathian, working in a little bit of Survivorist and Korathi ideology as well, because honestly, I think Sazed would approve of looking for the good stuff in various traditions. I don't remember where the specific WoB is, but at one point he said that if it exists or has existed on Earth, it exists at some point in Scadrial's time line as it is the nearest Earth equivalent in the cosmere, so I think we're good on both hazelnuts and Nutella.

So I'm working on getting one of my friends into the cosmere, and after reading Warbreaker, she expressed hopes of seeing more Lightsong in the future even though he died. While I don't think that will happen, it did get me thinking about how the Returned are cognitive shadows "stapled" back to their bodies with their Divine Breath, and now I'm wondering again if the cognitive realm on Nalthis is just full of redead Returned just hanging out as cognitive shadows. Does anyone know if Brandon has said anything about this? Do cognitive shadows ever get the chance to go Beyond? I have so many questions now because of this.

I was recently rereading Alloy of Law when I noticed something unexpected on page 260 when Wax is showing Ranette the aluminum gun. I see two possibilities here. Either this was a mistake that made it through to the final draft and was supposed to say that she could distinguish aluminum because it wouldn't create Allomantic lines, or else, there are subtle differences between the lines seen by Lurchers, if not also by Coinshots. Maybe this is savant material, or maybe it's just something you really need to pay attention about to notice. Does anyone know if we have any WoB about this?

Theater. It becomes expected that you will be Soothed and Rioted during the show. Metal anchors around the stage for Coinshots and Lurchers to use. Or even a metal harness with Metalborn stagehands. (Spoiled Tomatoes, anyone?) No need to worry about the Archivist forgetting their lines. Pretty much Metalborn ability can find a use in the theater.
