  1. Your few-second win is now mine.
  2. Your twenty one minute win is over now.
  3. I don't know you very well, @Elf, but...
  4. Bookwyrm looked around the Clinic for Calano and Emma. When he didn't find them, he sat down in his usual spot and thought for a moment. Then, he burned Bendalloy and began storing Fortune in his bracers. I never really use my Fullborn powers, he thought. But this is the best way, right now... He hoped bad luck wouldn't strike, if he was just sitting here, and had Bendalloy on to give him more time to react if anything drastic happened. I wonder where Calano and Emma went. It's not really like them to just leave... Though considering recent events....maybe they need a break.
  5. Yisten jumped slightly, surprised that someone wanted to talk to him. He didn't want to be rude, but he did not feel comfortable having an interaction this early in the training. They'd barely been here an hour, if that. But if this fellow cadet wanted to talk to him, well.... "Hello," Yisten said politely, not knowing what else to say.
  6. Bookwyrm accepted it, thanking the boy, though he waited to drink it. He glanced around the table, trying to get a feel for everyone's mood, especially Esmerelda's.
  7. Bookwyrm's eyes widened briefly. Then he thanked Allie and sat down.
  8. Bookwyrm felt somewhat awkward. "Um...where do you want me to sit?" he asked.
  9. "Sure," Bookwyrm said. "That sounds great." He followed Allie through the door and into the small house.
  10. "Well, yeah, I assumed that much." Bookwyrm pulled out a pair of metal bracers from the infinite pouch at his belt and put them on his arms. "I'm going to go back to the Clinic for a while, to prepare. I need to store some Fortune, though I may have to use Compounding, considering it's probably a bad idea to store it while I'm cursed with bad luck. I also want to make sure Calano and Emma are doing well. "You can join me on my quest if you want, or stay out of it. Thanks for the information." Bookwyrm vanished, teleporting back to the Clinic. When he arrived, he looked for Calano and Emma, but found only a circle of animals staring at the sky. That's....weird, he thought.
  11. ".....Oh." Bookwyrm sighed. "I guess I just need to go get it, then. Hopefully Nameless didn't blow it up on his rampage."
  12. Bookwyrm hesitated. "I'm sorry, but you seem to know who I am, while I don't know who you are." He smiled. "Could you tell me your name?" he asked kindly.
  13. "I would like to avoid cutting off his foot, if possible. Is there any way he can reverse my curse without me having to cause him harm?"
  14. "So, I know what a jackalope is....but what's the Great Jackalope?"
  15. "Do you know how to get rid of the curse?" Bookwyrm asked. Distantly, he heard the mournful call of two great birds.
  16. Bookwyrm watched Nameless's transformation from another realm. Hm. Interesting... he thought. I really should go pay Eof a visit at this point. If he's behind this...well, things are worse than I thought. Bookwyrm quickly found Eof's house using his Narration powers and transported himself there. Then he knocked on the door.
  17. Bookwyrm paused. "It...might be time for me to start using Chromium Feruchemy..."
  18. "I'd like to point that times of great upheaval for TLT are fairly common," Bookwyrm said flatly. "Though..." he added. "Maybe I will see Eof. He's generally in a more agreeable mood now; a lot less villainous than he once was."
  19. "That...doesn't really tell me anything."
  20. Bookwyrm and Rym appeared in the Realm of Living Shadows. Rym immediately started exploring the place, but Bookwyrm fought that urge and walked over to Nameless, Sequence and the hamster-person. "I still need specifics on this prophecy, and how exactly it's coming to pass," he said. Then he noticed the hamster-person turning into a shadowy being and summoned his Narrationblade, ready to defend himself.
  21. Bookwyrm held out his hand to Thaidakar.
  22. Rym, after watching the Withergeists explode, put away his Mordite sword. "Huh. That was weird."
  23. Rym drew his Mordite blade, ready to help in case the Withergeists attacked. "Oh, and Nameless?" Rym added. "My Narrator has a message for you. He wants you to tell him everything you know about the prophecy. When you have time."
