    I'm going to make this now before I procrastinate it again!

    I'll probably send out one or two reminders before I leave, and I'll try to reach out to people who I think might want to be on the list if they don't contact me.

      I'm about to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'll be gone for two years, serving in California (Spanish speaking), and teaching people who want to know more about our church, and also helping by doing other kinds of service. (I'm serving near where all those fires were, so I'll probably do some work related to that in my first few months.) 

      I won't be able to be on the Shard, or most social media at all, but missionaries are supposed to send out weekly emails to their family, friends, and anyone else who wants to hear from them. I'm getting a list of the emails of people who want those weekly updates from me, so that I can make sure they receive them.
