    Here's a challenge for one of you who's been following this thread and or has time to go back through this thread, AND has the time and ability to create a computer program. Make a physics simulator to test whether this would actually work.

    Is that not what the recreance was? Odium was the god of the humans, and they destroyed their planet and came to Roshar, bringing Odium with. We know the singers/listeners(I can't remember which group is which) used to serve honor and Cultivation, but somewhere the sides switched. This is also support with this WoB, specifically the questioners phrasing. Also, since all investiture generally has healing effects, and invested parasites would also probably resist investiture based healing, I find the questioner's theory unlikely and not sufficient evidence to disprove my suggestions that Ashyn's magic wasn't originally disease based. As for Ashyn's disease magic. This WoB states that it has not always worked that way, which I take to mean once Odium left Ashyn.

    Well, human surgebinding used to belong to Odium, but the radiants magic comes from Honor and Cultivation, and we do know it was changed at least a little, to prevent the disaster of Ashyn happening again. Also, we know the disease magic is new after the exodus.

    So, you know how it's impossible to give away only a fraction of your breaths. Well I think I've found an easy loophole. First step is to give the breath you want to keep to a piece of cloth or something lying around. Then you gify your remaining breath to whomever. Lastly go and reclaim the breath from the cloth. Boom, partial breath transfer complete. An alternative is to put the breath you want to give away into a cloth, and then give it to whomever. What doth you think?
