    Here is one point of view(not mine, but I forgot where I heard it) "If you do not believe in God, and there is no God, you will be fine. If you believe in God, and there is no God, you will be fine. If you do believe in God and there is a God, you will be fine. If you do not believe in God, and there is a God, then there will be problems. Therefore, I choose to cover my bases and believe in God" - somewhat paraphrased Now my thoughts: There is some purpose for us being here, and as long as you respect my belief, I will respect your choice/belief.
