I saw one. Not too developed, given how little information we have, but there is one.

I was wondering about this line too, and I too was reminded that Zane can do some pretty nifty tricks with Steelpushes. Given that Brandon has implied (if not outright said) that Wax is a steel savant, I wouldn't be surprised if he has figured out how to manipulate his center of mass (presumably by moving his limbs, leaning and twisting himself) to produce an effect like this. I don't know enough physics to see how exactly it would work though.

Oh, this is a really nice audio, very little background noise. Let me transcribe some of it... EDIT: And as I say this, the 80s background audio spikes... Alright, I transcribed the last 40 minutes or so. There were a couple of short bits I couldn't quite hear, if anyone would like to go over them. -
Except Wax lost vision of TenSoon's spikes quickly. There must be something the kandra can do to hide their spikes, bury them deeper in their bodies perhaps. Plus, if they couldn't do that, they would be pretty easy to detect even in the Final Empire, making them pretty bad at being the fabled spies and impersonators they were known to be.

Round two! Is aluminum missing something from the Cognitive or Spiritual realms? Is it possible to travel to the Spiritual Realm in a manner similar to how people can travel to the Cognitive? Can you create, change, or destroy things in there? With what effect? There is a "man with a long grey and black beard" in The Way of Kings prologue who asks Szeth "Have you seen me?" Is he or was he someone important on Roshar? Is the mist spirit mentioned in Alendi's logbook the same as the one that Vin encounters? Vin's Allomantic skill, and maybe power, seems to jump from The Well of Ascension to The Hero of Ages. Is this because she is now a Sliver? Did any of Tindwyl’s daughter’s survive past the Catacendre? Is Wax a descendant of hers? Wayne? Lerasium, when burned, grants all Allomantic powers. Atium, when used as a spike, can steal any power. Is there a way to create a Feruchemical metalmind that can store any Feruchemical power? Harmonium, perhaps?- 131 replies

Ha! I so called the thing about the spike. -
In the future, stand there and ask questions until they drag you away screaming and kicking. It helps to start talking faster once you see them call for security.

Here are some questions I pulled from the ultimate list, in addition to the ones I already posted above: In the Wandersail chapter of WoK Syl leaves Kaladin before he meets Hoid because she gets a bad feeling. Is this related to why Vin decided to not meet Hoid in HoA? -- I really want to ask this question, but I think it has such a high chance of being RAFOed, I might leave it for the end or something. Can Shards manifest in a humanoid body that exists in the Physical Realm (other than visions like Ruin gives Vin)? If so would this body look like the Shardholder’s former body? Would it be more vulnerable to being Splintered if it was in this form? Can Shardholders have children? Out of all the shards, why did Odium go after Devotion and Dominion? A Shardworld with two Shards sounds like it could be more dangerous to him than one with only one, such as Nalthis If an Allomancer burned melatium while looking at Lightsong, what would they see? If a new Shard traveled to Scadrial, would their presence automatically cause a new metal to appear, or would they need to Invest themselves in the planet? If they need to Invest themselves, would that change how the already existing magic systems work? More and more aluminum is turning into a special metal in the Cosmere. Did you choose it (as opposed to, I don't know, magnesium? platinum?) randomly, or is there something about its magic-counteracting properties that requires it to be aluminum? Is the communication between Seons truly instantaneous, or does it move at a fraction of the speed of light? If a Hemalurgist used Hemalurgy on Kaladin and took something not relating to his Nahel-bond, would Sylphrena fill the hole in his Spiritweb ( caused by the Spike ) with her own Investiture? Making their Bond more powerful. When Harmony says that he can't always find Bleeder, does he mean that he a) can't see her, can't locate her spike(s) magically, or c) can't detect her Hemalurgic charge. In other words, what does he look for when he is looking for someone? Are Drabs considered to have a damaged Spiritweb which would allow external Investiture - e.g. spren - to fill the gaps more easily? Stormlight and the Mists are very similar. Does that mean that Stormlight has a liquid and solid state? Is there an object more powerful than Nightblood in the Cosmere? Was there ever? Can aluminum prevent a Nalthian from Returning? Can it be Awakened? Harmony's hands, that's a lot of questions we have in the list! I'll go through the rest of them tomorrow, see if I find something else I like.- 131 replies

So, according to the SF signings, Elend can brute force "weaker" Copperclouds. Unfortunately, there is a third factor - how close to or much of a Savant you are. I am extrapolating here, but no-earring Vin can be much weaker than Elend, but if she turns herself into a bronze Savant she might be able to pierce Coppercloud stronger than the ones Elend can. So good luck figuring it out.- 131 replies

Technically neither Ruin nor Preservation are good or evil. Ruin is progress and Preservation is stagnation as much as they are destruction and protection.
-
Huh, interesting. I wonder if they are anything like the spren.

Whoever was asking about the Ryshadium said something about Renarin, I think, and Brandon went "Oh, you are a fan of Renarin too?" and I think that was it.

It's in the audio, just not in any way informational.

I don't know if those were actually giraffes - I believe Wax uses the word "giraffe" (maybe), so calling them "long-necked horses" when they have an actual name is kind of weird. Maybe they do have horses with long necks in Kaermeron.

I didn't check, but I assumed those were the chapter numbers using the modern Steel Alphabet.

Alright, I am done with my transcript. This is from FirstSelector's second file, the personalization line. The way I do transcripts is, I listen to the entire thing, and whenever I hear a question I think might be interesting (either because it gets us more information about a book or the Cosmere as a whole, or because it's just a cool bit of information), I transcribe it. The way I transcribe the questions, I aim for the spirit of the question first, the main idea, and once I have that down, I might change the wording to be closer to what was actually said. I don't transcribe thoughts that don't go anywhere, irrelevant sounds, and other similar things - it's about the information, not the accuracy. If I can't understand or hear a question well enough, I add question marks and/or notes. Italicized text is usually my thoughts (unless it's a book title). This being said, I would highly encourage some of you to go through at least the questions where I couldn't hear or understand things (there are timestamps in my document, they should be accurate down to a few seconds) and fix them up.

Those are extremely rare - I've heard of only one other case where Brandon has asked a recorder to pause the recording to he can answer a question off the record.

I was looking at the Bands of Mourning entry in the Barnes & Noble website, and a couple of things nudged my brain in specific ways: The cover. I can't remember, did we agree that this is Steris next to Wax? Because she is the only blonde I can think of, and boy, am I excited for more Steris! And not only are we getting more Steris, it looks like she'll be adventuring with Wax, or at least traveling with him and having adventures happen to her. There is a review by Orson Scott Card, which reads "It's rare for a fiction writer to have much understanding of how leadership works and how love really takes root in the human heart. Sanderson is astonishingly wise." I don't know if it is for Bands specifically, but if it is I think we'll get us some... Waxteris? Steraxillium?

I wouldn't hang too tightly on that belief. Some "quirks" could simply be different manifestations of the same perk (e.g. for Kaladin "more squires" and "stronger squires" could be considered two quirks or one "Super squires" perk). Saying that someone has "a quirk" just doesn't sound right for what the comment is establishing.

"Any questions?" "No." *sobs* Yeah, I create a template for each questions (bolded Q:, bolded A:, brackets for the timestamp, and a line separator), and I copy it over a bunch of pages so I don't have to type it every time. So when I hit a question I just record the time and transcribe the question. I'll drop the extras once I am done.

I am sorry, @Archon, but if you feel Harmony and the Lord Ruler "both manipulate and brutalise in equal measure any who disagree," I just can't respond with reason. The Final Empire was so much worse than Era 2, if you can't see that I have to believe you have a strong personal vendetta against Harmony specifically. At which point I don't know how reliable your arguments are =\

That would be an interesting thing to confirm.

Let's transcribe this bad boy.
