    @The stormfather and I made mistborn cloaks! Halloween is going to be pretty cool this year. I'll probably just hang out with some friends handing out candy on my porch and take my friend's sister trick or treating, but it should be pretty fun. We're carving pumpkins tonight when I get back from work. Hopefully I manage to successfully make a mistborn pumpkin.

    Mistborn Actually, it could be talking about El, or or a sleepless although Hoid does make sense. I'm just trying to think about people who are watching the events unfold. I have no idea about the "playing a tune that no man can hear" unless it's one of the rhythms since humans can't hear those (at least most of the time).

    Awesome! Yeah, I haven't started the story but I've already done a ton of work and prep. I'll check out your writing. Oooh! That sounds really cool!

    This makes sense to me because then you experience things in the same way the older fans have, but I think that most order have pros and cons. I kind of wish I could go back and do it again. I would read almost everything before I read Stormlight and then maybe I could figure things out on my own and I wouldn't have to have all the connections pointed out to me.

    I thought I'd make a thread for all the people doing NaNoWriMo this year who want to chat about how it's going or ask for advice. We can also share excerpts if anyone is not making a dedicated thread for their's. I'm going to try and write something new this month, so that's exciting! I've never really successfully completed NaNoWriMo but I'm hoping this year I'll manage to set a realistic goal and achieve it. I'm planning on starting the story plan tonight, and last week I spent a lot of time world building and figuring out the history of the planet that my story will be set on. I'm excited to hear if anyone else is doing this!

    I'm on season four of game of thrones now. Wow. I kind of wish I didn't read the books because the show is awesome but I completely spoiled all the plot twists and stuff.
