    Wdym by practical magic? ...No? You can't summon gods. Maybe you can self-insert OC some lesser spirits in when the story allows it, but gods are class above.

    Hm. Okay. So. Before you enter a new room, I'll flip a coin. If heads, I'll give you two rooms that you get to pick between. If Tails, I'll pick. You won't get too much info, just the first glimpse. Also, you'll be able to change some details of the story, In combat, you'll get to do some luck-based magic. Oh no! The dragon tripped! And on occasion, reality warping and major details can be changed. THIS FORTRESS HAS ALWAYS. BEEN. AN. ORANGE. Not at all, the more details the better.

    Like a caretaker kinda god, not knowledge for knowledge's sake, but knowledge for the good of humanity? That works. You've been bonded to a God of the Kobolds, Zolpi'Vok'Sneppo, kobold god of Protection. Now it's kobold protection, so he's really just tricking everyone into not attacking. You have the power to prank and misdirect, including causing physical damage to be misdirected- oph that wound they got 3 hours ago? yeah that rock was wounded, what are you talking about. Story magic..... do you want to forsee how the story turns, or change it?

    @KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren, did you ever make a new character? Both would be broadly acceptable- we'll see about the mage who can do anything. If you can get up with a nice, solid theme for the god-thingy, it's probably fine. Wayfinder's aren't strictly supposed to be able to channel magic into themselves-but honestly since not a single paladin here did that, I can just give that to wayfinder. @Spark of Hopewho is your character bonded to? I never asked, I think.

    Okay, so I'm planning college tours right now, and my mom is like, "You know, you should apply to Harvard since no more international students! Oh and Princeton too!" 

    Me, in shock. "I'm not going to harvard or princton mom, A: I'm not getting in, and B, we're not paying for that!"

    "Yeah they give great aid!" (For reference, we're well off enough, we're not getting financial aid. They know this.)

    THEN MY PARENTS START MOCKING ME?? LIKE VERBATIM "OH LOOK AT ARGENTI NOW HE"S 17 HE THINKS HE KNOWS BETTER THAN HIS PARENTS."

      …it’s times like these when I realize how lucky I am to have my parents.

      it’s usually the opposite extreme, where like I’m expected to pay for all my clothes and anything I want to buy, and my whole humanitarian trip next month, and my puppy (there’s a reason I have 2 jobs). And it’s just kind of assumed I’ll get basically a full ride scholarship and then cover rent and go wherever I want…idk.

      Family is hard, but I’m glad yours care. I’m not saying that makes it easy or that they’re right, but even imperfect love is powerful and wonderful.
