    Tried to keep the title vague, but my Day One theory is that the nephilim are Uli Da, not just in the way her shard is splintered and... inverted? But in the way that they're fragments of her mind, torn apart during Ambition's shattering. It's not a stretch to see many armed white creatures as sho-del, especially how they all seem incomplete. They're vulnerable to cognitive manipulation, which most investiture is, to an extent, but I think they're especially vulnerable, like nightmares who are dead people. What does this mean? I have no idea, but you could probably get ambition back together by bringing em together and inverting her back.
