    To put it simply, Yes. The reason aluminum on the head works is because that's the emotinal center, and aluminum blocks investiture, not just in a line but also in a sort of cloud. As long as you have enough on your head, it blocks the allomancy. The tinfoil hat is a funny thing, that apprently Brandon didn't realize he did until later. Alumium is a nice metal where it's very rare until industialiazation, then it become very common. WOBs

      People can have different beliefs than you

      And like I understand that these same anti-lgbtq people also have their own opinions, and I can respect that

      But I also think that we don't have to put each other down for differing beliefs/values

      Like how wonderful a place would the world be if we just tried to understand everyone

      hmm

      Well I guess that could apply to this situation, too

      I feel like whoever wrote that article is definitely angry (or voicing others' anger), though that doesn't justify the antagonistic tone of what they wrote

    I personally think it should have its own sub forum it doesn't fit neatly into any of the existing ones; possibly like what Sanderson Elimination has? A sub-sub forum under Role-playing? Otherwise, it could have its own place in the Cosmere forum?

    I'd add an example of what you plan to do with your magic, or what you're good at with this. Like let's say Jasmine, as a Gale and Clairvoyent, is particularly good at telling the upcoming weather. She can predict other things, and she can guide the wind and rain, but she's better at telling weather.
