Saaphir held up the dart. “What am I supposed to do, throw it at him? Or do you have some type of gun for this.”

“Assuming you provide some form of paralytic. I must know though. What do you have planned for Ne’ik? I wish him no further harm, I just want to get answers.”

“Defeat Ne’ik might be possible for me to do, but not capture him. Bringing in someone alive is much harder than bringing in someone dead. Ne’ik escaped when I ceased to fight. I had no desire to kill him, or even seriously wound him, since he is not the man I thought he was. You expect one man to capture him without fully fighting him? It took several of you to capture him, I watched it.”

“If you are going after him, I’m coming with you. Besides, would you trust a stranger to look after your wounded?”

“He’s more skilled of a fighter than me, I’ll likely need your help, but I’m willing to assist in taking him down. Not kill him, but find out answers. Why do you want him?”

“He emerged from the hospital as I arrived, yes. He was your prisoner correct?”

Saaphir stepped out into the sunlight, hand resting on his sword hilt. Not an aggressive posture, but one that showed he could defend himself. ”I’m Saaphir, and I mean no harm.” He said. “To you at least. I came here to kill your friend in the hospital. I thought he was the man who had killed my father, but it wasn’t the right man. He looked eerily similar though. Anyway, he escaped his bonds as I arrived, and we fought briefly before he fled. I want to find answers, and feel I might be able to find them by joining with you. Yes, I do know who you are, and I agree with your cause. I’ve been watching your captive closely, and therefore you.”

“Yeah.” Saph said. “I have illusion magic, heightened spiritual senses, and a body that is fairly resistant to damage and makes me able to react quickly. I’m not super amazing in a straightforward battle, I’m better at small numbers confrontations or stealth.”

Saaphir watched him go, feeling slightly confused. That man and the murderer were not the same person, but had looked strikingly similar. From a distance, Saaphir could tell that they eyes were dark, and that everything else was pretty much the same, but up close he had been able to tell the difference. Saaphir sheathed inspected his blade, which still had a small bit of blood on it from where he had nicked his opponent. He rubbed his shoulder where the man’s powerful strike had hit him. He rolled up his sleeve to look at it, and saw that it was already quite bruised. Nothing that wouldn’t heal at least. He wiped the blood off his sword, then sheathed it. He leaned against the wall, arms crossed, and waited for the man’s captors to return. Perhaps they could tell him more about the man who looked so eerily similar to the one who killed his father.

I do disagree with this, Trell’s spikes free kandra from Harmony’s control, and hide people from him, giving them autonomy. And if Paalm’s intentions are similar to Trell, which I’m guessing is the case since she has that spike, well she was very focused on freeing the people from Harmony and giving them autonomy. Plus there’s the foreman on Taldain named Trell, which is significant. Also should this be in the cosmere board or is it fine?
