Yes, yes, you should Sequence. We can fit in murdering another character sometime next week :P

  2. Yes, the entire world didn't have humans anymore, but the universe still had the little buggers.
  3. The Sixth Archive Thaidakar sat in quiet contemplation, his tears long dried. He was broken, he was battered, he'd been running for so long... perhaps it was time to stop running. Something in himself seemed to cringe at the implication. Thaidakar ignored it, he'd been holding on for so long... was it time to finally let go? He stood up, ignoring the floating armor surrounded by that red glow. Thaidakar shivered with anticipation. The thing in his mind seemed to be excited. Suddenly, a horrifying thought came to him. If you let go, what will happen to Calano, Bookwyrm, Emma and the rest? No, he couldn't let go. At least, not yet. He couldn't seize that power. He couldn't confront it yet. No, not yet, perhaps not ever. He shivered, this was going to be harder than before. He resisted the desire to just let go fiercely by thinking of what could happen to the others if he did do it. An overpowering desire to do it hit him like a truck and he gripped his head, yelling. Why do you have to not take the power? It could help you so much... the thing seemed to be saying. "Because of what I did to Lerya last time..." he whispered. Glyph's pattern buzzed nearby. "I have to hold on... if not for me, for Lerya. I owe her this and much, much more..." "Truth..." said Glyph softly. "Confront it..." "I- I killed her. Glyph, I killed her!" He was crying again, tears streaming down his face. "I did it..." he slumped down again. "Why do you have to do this, Glyph..." "I believe the one known as the Stormfather would've said... these words are accepted." Glyph said happily. "Truth is powerful, Thaidakar. You were on the brink of finally giving up. The only think keeping you from falling off of the edge of the cliff is the knowledge of Lerya. Thaidakar, I've learned some things... the thing that's in you it-" "I don't want to hear it," whispered Thaidakar. "You seem incapable of listening to my commands, Glyph. Just go away... I told you to before, but you seem incapable of doing what I command. Why don't you go find some other person. Someone not as broken as me, someone... someone who didn't kill an entire universe's worth of people." Glyph buzzed softly, but went away. "I hate you..." Thaidakar said to the thing inside him and partially to himself. "I hate you for all you've done to me and to them..." He had to keep holding on, no matter what. He had to. It was simple as that. No matter the cost, he couldn't let the power free itself.
  4. I decided a while ago that it's a picture of my character Thaidakar in Insanity Clinic. Cat in a tree, always amazing 20/10
  5. Spook bet some of Mythos' money that the root cult was going to start a war.
  6. The Clinic Something moved. Jimmy Thunder looked up from the magazine he'd been reading on his comfy chair in his living room. He had a large apartment in the building. What was that? He looked around wildly, something was here besides him... Something told him it wasn't some sort of being like Shadow. Annoying, yet somewhat helpful. The lamp on his coffee table flickered, like a pulse going out. "This... this is unnerving." That was just when he noticed his shadow pointed the wrong way. He cursed, stumbling back. The shadow didn't move with him and checked behind him, his normal one was there. "Okay, something freaky is going on..." Jimmy walked out of the door, peeking at the weird shadow on the floor and then left. He walked down the hallway and smiled, he hoped- the shadow was back right in front of him. Great. Something grabbed his foot and he tripped. Jimmy fell on the shadow, it felt goopy... Some sort of red aura seemed to emanate from it, an evil aura. Jimmy tried to get up, but the shadow seemed to stick to him, pulling him down. He shouted for help, but the shadow covered him, pulling him into the floor. He sank into the shadow, making a ploop noise. A shadowy version of Jimmy stepped out of the goo, an illusion covered it and it appeared just as Jimmy had. It smiled eerily then made an expression much like Jimmy would have. It strolled along as if nothing had happened.
  7. Mythos appeared with a small pop. He had a worried expression on his face. "There's been somebody trying to impersonate me. I've been tracking them down and the trail leads to a place where some of you might have been."
  8. I started watching Shardcast. it's good... TLM stuff is fun.

      The Bookwyrm

I wonder...what are the chances that any of us end up on Shardcast someday...

Yeah, I've wondered that before. It would probably depend on how many of us eventually end up as mods. I don't think I'll ever be one, and if I do end up as one, it'll be a long ways away. Bookwyrm, I think you'd have a bigger chance than me at becoming one. I can see Calano and Wizard eventually becoming mods if Insanity Clinic becomes the next Alleyverse. I can also see Robin becoming one. Anyhow, a good bit of us have decent chances.

  9. The blotches became itchy, burning slightly. Barnacles drew an axe and used it along with his cutlass light saber.
  10. Barnacles grinned as the dark thing turned into vapor and hit Subversion, making their skin turn purple and blotchy.
  11. "Hmm..." Barnacles considered, "though, pray tell, why did you let this happen?" Something moved behind Subversion, something dark. It gripped Subversion's head and tried to throw them at Unintelligible.
  12. Barnacles nodded slowly, "living a hated life... what do you truly want, Subversion? What do you want? Why are you doing this?"
  13. "That is rather presumptuous to say in TLT, my friend," said Barnacles. "Didn't you kill Valiant? they were going to be Nameless' heir as well. You killed them. Think about it, your life has become in danger as Nameless' heir. As a character viewed as a villain, you'll probably end up dead sometime."
  14. I take the sandwich using brilliant manipulation.
  15. Is that... Wayne? If so, 15/10
  16. Barnacles' eyes gleamed darkly, "souls..." he smiled sardonically. "Tell me, semi-narrator, do you fear death?"
  17. Darth Barnacles cursed and pulled out his lightsaber cutlass. He turned the root monster into root sticks and started serving them to the root cultists with great success.
