    there was this thing in Elmo's world yeeeaaaars ago, back when I was a smol child, where there was this guy named Gonagon and Elmo would say "Heeeee's gone again." My family has quoted it endlessly.

    Me neither for a bit. There were times I liked him better and times I didn't like him as much as in the books. I think Sticky was better in the show too. (I hope I remembered the name right-)

    Oh, I meant season one. Season one improved on the source material, season two ruined the source material and just ignored it out right, growing worse with each episode. Uuuuuugh, I have so many problems with season two. Constance was the only redeeming aspect of that season. The books are good though, really good. the characters in the show just clicked for me way better than in the books.

He shook his head, "I don't know, really, beyond a load of dread. Did I ever tell you about the dark and evil god who made me kill my girlfriend a few millennia ago?"

    ANOTHER PERSON HAS HEARD OF THAT? That's a fun book, though I'm corrupted since I watched the show first and prefer the show over the book tbh. One of the few times I consider the adaptation to be better than the source material.

    Guys, I know I said I'd only do one today, but... 

    Something awesome happened that needs to be shared.

    So, do y'all remember the book I mentioned before? No? Well, it was going to be called Magic is Undeniably, Illogically and Unfortunately Real. It was going to be a kind of whimsical modern fantasy story kinda like Yumi and the Nightmare Painter mixed with Harry Potter and Alcatraz.

    Now it's Yumi and the Nightmare Painter mixed with Steelheart and Alcatraz, more specifically that one battle in the Dark Talent at Washington DC.

    Guys- I've only written like 19 pages or so... I didn't know most of the plot for a lot of that. I just randomly, during sessions of school, came up with all of what I want the plot to be if not where the characters are going to go and some of the details for the execution.

    But... it's looking so good. I got some fun stuff planned for the villain, my boy Xander, and some epic things coming in Washington DC, and the magic system is just gonna be fun to play around with. 

    Also... @DarkAlphaWolf12you might like this one... I think I might have a character from... nowhere in specific... in the story playing a brief role closer to the end, depending on a few things.

     

    One more thing: I think I'm realizing that I'm halfway a discovery writer and halfway an outline writer. I think discovery writing the beginnings is better for me and then creating an outline as I write the first bit is how I like it.

    Nah, you could not have- Thaidakar has certain... things in place that would've stopped you, at least for a time. I'm looking forward to Thaidakar's epic return tomorrow.

    When you get the inexplicable urge to send the entire lyrics to a Hamilton to your roommate from FSY, fully knowing that they hate Hamilton and fully knowing that this will make them think you're a weird homeschooler even more...

    and then you follow that urge and burst out in laughter as they see it immediately.

    that moment when you realize that first person present tense is something you hate and realize that you need to edit the last 18 pages so that you can be writing like that and you're just like "Aaaaand that's one of the reasons why writing is fun." 

    But, seriously, this is so annoying- 

    Welp, that's what my next half our before going to bed will be (and the tomorrow... and Friday too).. wish me luck!
