Also — Intent conversion is more likely if a Shard is gained @ the beginning of the game rather than towards the end, so that’s another reason to hold out. And yes I would like to join the dark side Where my cookies at

hello fellow villagers >:) I have my awoken Honestly, I haven’t really done the math but I don’t think Shards being released is as good for the 17th Shard as this seems to imply. Intent conversion is very and should be avoided at all costs. That being said, I do think some of the more elim-leaning (or smaller-faction-leaning, I guess) Shards, like Mercy and Endowment, should be priorities, since as we get further into the game, the elims essentially get free Shards if they have enough people working together. In other news, I’m not going to be very helpful the next ~4 days. I went on vacation, then got COVID, and when I got back to school I found that nothing had gotten done on this big group project that’s due on Friday. So now I’m scrambling to get everyone organized so we can get done on time >:(

Allera had no idea who any of those people were. They slowed down and doubled back to Ayia and the new person.

Allera nodded, flying faster.

Allera started flying — slowly at first, to see what pace Variance could match. “I don’t know, but I would appreciate if you didn’t fight back if it attacks us. Just run away, and hopefully it’ll lose interest.”

“Good. I know this area of the forest well; assuming the stardragon is near where I last saw it, I can lead you there.”

“I’ve already tried that. The Kkhlei’s reach extends throughout the galaxy and into most other inhabited space. And word of the bounty has likely spread past there, too. It would be nigh-on-impossible to find anywhere we could actually settle down.” Just an hour ago, Allera had assumed that they would have to run from the Kkhlei until they died — it was funny how your expectations could shift so much in such little time. To Ayia, they replied, “I don’t know exactly what they can do. But worrying that a stardragon will attack us unprovoked is like worrying that a stranger walking down the street will suddenly pull out a blaster and start shooting at us.”
