I've heard that quote before... I don't know from where.

  2. I think we should let the Shards out early game so we can protect them from other, more insidious factions once they’ve converted more people, then once we get one or two of Hoid/Khriss/Bavadin, we can start thinking about containment.
  3. “Right here. It’s just through the trees; I won’t be far away, and I’ll hear if anything happens.”
  4. Allera nodded. “It’s not gonna be here all day.”
  5. “You go on ahead. I don’t want to be in view of the station.”
  6. “What do you mean? It’s got feet. If it landed, it would leave prints.”
  7. “If it’s not there, then maybe some sort of prints that tell us where it might’ve gone.”
  8. I agree. It’s also good to remember, though, that as we get further in the game, the factions become the majority and the alt wincons become more prominent, so treating them as elims become less and less helpful. Edit: See, that’s not what I was saying. This is the kind of meta-analysis that I hate, because it’s forcing people into one style of play. Sure, we can joke about how Kas isn’t “capable” of playing dgaf/doing the method acting thing that he’d committed to before the game, but there’s a difference between that and basing your reads around the fact that Kas isn’t playing like usual.
  9. “No — that’s just the only point of civilization nearby.”
  10. Allera came to a stop. “This is where I saw it. There’s a research outpost that way.” Allera pointed their wing at it. “Maybe that’s where it went.”
  11. Allera nodded, and began flying in the direction of the stardragon.
  12. Just noticed this on a reread. This reads… bad to me. I don’t like it. Kas’s activity aligns exactly with his pregame meta — he made it very clear what his activity levels were going to be. TBB, you know better. Edit: yeah I’m aware that this isn’t necessarily AI but it feels like it’s against the spirit of the game and I don’t like it so hmph
  13. Hi im here what are the haps so like we need to break at LEAST Odium out today people Get on it people
  14. “Are you two done?” Allera asked.
  15. Here’s an idea. If you choose to take Investiture this turn, RNG your Shard Investiture choices from a select pool of high-priority Shards. For example: roll from 1-3. If you roll a 1, take from Odium; a 2, take from Ruin; a 3, take from Mercy. That way, it’s mostly guaranteed that two or three of them will be broke out and end up in village hands, and the elims don’t have any extra info that might point them to Vessels.
  16. “We last saw it here. If it’s not here still, hopefully it left some sort of trail.”
  17. Fair. But I think if you save it for lategame, that doesn’t matter as much
  18. I mean at the very least this essentially forces the village to waste an exe, which can be super important late game.
