Allera nodded.

“The Kkhlei is run by four guilds. The Agrarian Guild, the Merchant’s Guild, the Creatives’ Guild, and the Mage’s Guild. The latter controls all production of gemstones. You either have to be born into it or pass a test to get one.”

“I don’t. But now that you mention it, some of the locals on Akcali had stories about the caves in the forest being haunted. No different from any other cultures living near a mysterious forest, though.”
