I have returned from insane life stuff! Sorry for disappearing for so long. My mental health was really bad, and I lost the willpower to do pretty much anything. But I'm back now, so yay!

I'll admit, when I first heard that the Shard was down, I was devastated. You may point out that I'm not on as much anymore so it shouldn't matter, and you'd be right. But still, that's, like, ten minutes of my day I no longer had anything to do with. What am I supposed to do with an extra ten minutes??

Then it hit me. I could finally do all the things I wanted to do! All the things I said that I never had time for!

I immediately began working out. I'd never done this before, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Soon I was deadlifting twice my weight, and I was seeing results. I started running as part of this, and even ran a marathon.

I finally got around to the novel I've been procrastinating, and finally finished its first draft. I got it in with a publisher, and it's now sold 4 million copies worldwide and counting. I'm not allowed to give details yet, but let's just say, be on the lookout for a possible film adaptation coming to a theater near you.

Now, I hadn't forgotten about my religious responsibilities. I got my call and ended up serving my mission in Sweden, of all places. I have since returned and am now happily engaged to my fiance.

My friends, there is a very important lesson to be learned from all this. Even just ten minutes can change the course of your life. So, tell me... how are you going to spend the next ten minutes?

Day #21

9 more days y'all have to deal with my status updates every day

I am missing my watch right now and holy heck is this so hard

I didn't realize how much having it helped

I'll use it to count and fidget and tell the time and I need it

But I don't have a massive headache like yesterday and I'm going to go in and have a professional neck snapper make a lot of unfamiliar sounds with my body so I'll be able to turn my neck without pain. yay scoliosis

You are a billion times better than puppies.

Day #19 

Happy Mental Health Awareness month!!!
Today I cleaned my room at my dad’s house. For some reason I have no motivation at his house and only a bit at mom’s. But I was able to motivate myself and my section of the room is a lot cleaner. 
You are better than waffles.

Aye... to all you folks a-wishin' me happy birthday...

I'll see if I'll be on tomorrow morning. See, I have... plans. 

Update on the neck; we saw a neurosurgeon and HE said he didn't see anything wrong with me on the MRI. Which just... absolutely pisses me off. Apparently the radiologist was wrong? Apparently I'm insane for having so much pain every day for three years? I dunno. But we're going to see another specialist in June down in Iowa City. 

I cannot tell you how upsetting today has been. I thought that we finally had answers and that there was a clear path to fixing things, but now that hope is just gone. Hopefully we'll get some more answers from the next doctor, but who knows... in the meantime... I guess I'll just keep trekking like I always have.

I'm sad
