  1. Ah yes, blend in with the one person who posted, kill me now, I must be a rampant spiked murderer.
  2. Yes. Almost as fun as whose.
  3. I watched the show, and that's about it.
  4. Enner reached into himself, feeling the essence within him. He was surprised at the depths of his Savvour reserve, but then again, he hadn't used it since influencing the captain to let him on for so cheap, and he had been around more people than ever before. Well, other than Sindix, but they didn't really count since they produced so much less Savvour than the Oceaneirids that crewed this boat. His Luax on the other hand, was fairly empty, he had been spending too much time in the sleeping deck, not enough time in the sun. He smiled, he didn’t need much Luax right now anyways. Enner scanned the docks, looking for a convenient target. There, he thought. With a small burst of Luax, he severed the cord tethering a sleeping Umbral to the dock. Using Savvour, Enner took control of it, waking it up and bringing to the edge of the ship. None of the crewmembers seemed to notice. He looked back, making sure the captain didn't see, and jumped onto the Umbral, flying it full speed for the docks. Then someone noticed. "Hey, you, where are you going?" It was a crewmember, not the captain, that meant he had time. A smile touched his lips at the thrill of the chase. He couldn't quite make out what they were saying, but he knew the captain would be after him soon. If he wanted his money that was. Enner turned back just in time to see a burly Draa woman leap off the ship with a spear in each hand. Unlike normal Draa, she was not covered in wood and other plant like armor. This one was covered in pale green metal, which Enner somehow knew would glow in faint enough light. The Draa flew a little closer, then dropped her spears, which flew towards him at an incredible pace. Enner weaved his Savvour into himself and his Umbral, then plunged beneath the waves. The spears splashed into the water, noticeably slower now. He wished he had Kinatar, then he could shatter the spears and return to the surface. But he would be forced to wait and be clever. The spears slowing suggested shoddy craftsmanship, or simply low power level. Either way, it was good for him. There would be perimeters on them. The spears weren't high enough quality to be true seekers. Either they would be limited by time, distance from the person who thew them, or distance traveled. The best way to increase all of those was to plunge down into the water further. Spears followed, and Enner moved back and forth to make sure the spears were still following him and not just sinking. Finally, the spears stopped reacting. That was lucky since he almost didn't have enough Savvour to make it back to the surface. He brought the Umbral up, bursting free of the water after a while. Then he felt himself be yanked off the Umbral's back. It was the Draa woman. He cursed. "Can't get away that easy," she chuckled. He didn't have enough Savvour to influence her after using it to not drown. She towed him to the ship, were she tossed him onto the deck. "Well, well, well, thought you could scam me out of my money. You're lucky I'm letting you live." It was the captain. He was an half Oceaneirid, half Draa. "Everything you brought on this ship, everything in your pockets, everything but the clothes on your back, is mine now, for that little stunt." He gestured to the Draa that had captured me. "Search him, you get first pick for catching the little rat." And they did. Not without a couple kicks and bruises too. Eventually, they were done searching and beating him, or maybe they just reached the dock, so they threw him down. It took a while, less time for a a half Kinatalin like him since he was naturally tougher than most races, but still a while nonetheless, for him to wake up. Once he did though, the healing process was sped up, with the natural Savvour from the crowded streets healing him.
  5. Yeah, I had planned for Orteo to just be on the way north to the corner, not the location itself.
  6. Enner watched the water rise and fall in waves. He was traveling to Orteo proper, eager to find the location of his next shrine. Orteo had a little bit of everyone, including people who would know the locations of the shrine. Or he could go to Deefor, home of essence. In the last island, an old Vexlin woman had told him not to trust the Vexers. He had found it strange when she looked at him, almost as if she could see through him. There had to be other shrines, other ways to get his power without having to deal with the Vexers.
  7. Uh... my essences basically are an elemental system, just with life instead of water. Starmagic is separate.
  8. @Channelknight Fadran You need to delete the poll then make it again so we can vote for the new options.
  9. Dragons? Is it a proper archipelago, or more of an Earthsea style one?
  10. Statement, rhetoric, question, all shall be used fairly. Or will they? Do you not think they will? Lies. All are equal in my eyes.
  11. I'm pretty sure if we're going to have a weird shaped world, the magical warping is at the edges. Fine, but you can't stop us from making unexecutive decisions.
  12. Poll one: World shape: Circle (boring, but sensical) Flat (okay, but raises many complications) Tetrahedron (fun, works well with essences) Cube (like flat, but different, and just as weird) Octahedron (fun, not too bad, works okay with essences) Icosahedron (weird, works good with both essences and star-moon-sun magic) Dodecahedron (fun, dnd, big, works horribly with magic systems) Edit: Or we could just stick with tetrahedron.
