I think so, but I also suspect that I'll enjoy them much more when I get the physical book.

That's a footnote for the previous footnote. It is properly asterisked.

Long Game 93: Soon May the Islands Come
The Unknown Medallion replied to Mat's topic in Sanderson Elimination
At this point I am completely willing to die so it can just be established that you are all making activity arguments when they don't work on me. This is a disingenuous argument here. My point against JNV and JNVs post alone was completely valid, as he was arguing that I was elim due to his theory that elims weren't under pressure, and I responded that I had been under pressure. It was completely relevant to the problem at hand. If we're playing the irrelevant game, then your post is irrelevant, any negative point against me is irrelevant. Why? Because. But I'm not going to be child, so here's a the concrete reasons why you're wrong. Here's your initial vote post from earlier this cycle: "I'm not a fan of his response on his elim tells" So? That's not actually a reason to suspect me or vote me. Said elim tells are, but you never actually mention those, except for your next part "Kas mentioned in our PM that he'd expect v!TKN to have had more of an impact by now." The latest Kas could have said that was n2. N2! I can understand Kas' argument that I start making a impact later on, in fact, I think he's right, but you can't backtrack that to the second cycle, through most of which I was very sick. I almost never come into play cycle two. Sometimes I get a correct hunch c1 and follow it, but normally I start coming in late c3 and c4. Also, I thought we were supposed to be doing this without Kas holding our hand? Not just following his reads until we die. Also, no reasoning? You put words that don't mean anything as your reasoning. You put an opinion that is irrelevant to my alignment, and something Kas said that has negative evidence behind it. Now let's look at my other votes and see just how dumb they are. JNV: Already argued it, I was under a not insignificant amount of pressure throughout d1, and his argument is predicated on elims not being under pressure. Also he has self-professed that he always reads me as elim. Alpha: Pure sheeping. While I don't blame him on account of him being new, I wouldn't doubt that he's been told to play up his newness by the elim doc and is reaping the rewards. Ash: Why Ash? Why are you "fine voting TKN here?" You can't just be agreeing with Araris' read, because their built on a faulty foundation. For all this, I think there's a decent chance that Araris is being an honest villager, but since there's also a good chance that he's making faulty arguments to go after the LHF that my train always is, and since he is my best chance, I'll put my vote on Araris. -

I'm pretty sure if Ash is evil, the elims know who Cord is regardless, and Cord should claim so they can be protected. -

As much as I want to die so you guys can remember how v!me works, I'll defend this as best as I can. I was actually two vote train for a good part of early d1, and had one vote until pretty near the end when Stick moved to Wiz, and several people expressed interest in joining Stick. So while I was only a train early on in the cycle, there was one vote (the ending tie was two votes!) on me most of the game. -
On location 1346 of my kindle book, immediately after the 'Alright, why can't I have talking bananas' FAQ, it refers to the vikings as 'well-kempt.' I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be 'well-kept.'

Argenti's descent into Discworld
The Unknown Medallion replied to Argenti's topic in General Discussion
Your library is weird. As far as I know, there is just about nothing to make Discworld Scifi, since I don't think it ever gets past the industrial revolution. -

I have a feeling I'm misunderstanding here, and I know you have other (decently valid, if incorrect) reasons that you suspect me, but since when do I ever vote more than two people in a cycle? I will note that quite a while ago, during a game that I was elim with Araris, he specifically mentioned wanting to not put in the elim kill because of this. -
It's not saying not to ask what pur favorite book is (though that can be dangerous), just don't ask us to summarize, describe, or otherwise try to learn the contents of our favorite book without reading it. We can't answer you.

That post from Sart feels weird. Don't know what to think of it yet. I didn't say that they should not be AI, just that I didn't think they were very AI. Plus, you're basically saying the absence of AIness is what makes them AI, so whatever. Here's a list of my first two (ish) posts from the last couple of games: You can draw your own conclusions from that, but my argument is that I split what would normally be my first post into two separate posts this game, and if you take them together, they seem pretty similar to the other games. -

Ah yes, the reasons that only came into existence after that list was made. I had only done two posts then, and neither were particularly AI. -

Which I'm actually very curious about, @Kasimir, since I don't think that was just the other half of the plyer list. That's because I tend to ignore reads questions when I don't have reads/just early game in general. I was also going to go back and answer one of your questions, but I forget what it was. I'm not saying you were waiting for anybody, I was saying you were waiting for a significant number of people express a mild sus, which is very common for me d1. -

I doubt I've personally said that, but someone might have noted that about me. I'll get back to why Stick, but what do you mean claim? My reasoning for Stick is thus. From what I noticed, her suspicion only started (or at least only got strong) after Kas voiced a similar opinion. She put a poke vote on me early on (a second vote btw), which is a really easy LHF, but there wasn't any read behind it. And then she moved her vote away, and once Kas showed a slight sus I got the impression that Stick was waiting to make sure some other players were willing to join the train, once she saw you, Kas, and I think Sart, Stick that it could be a successful mix, so she hopped on. Edit: Although I won't deny that there's a bit of OMGUS in there, Stick, that is by no means the majority or even that big of a part of my reasoning. -

That's one reason why he's sunk in alongside general passivity, yes. Several comments: 1. You cannot seriously be saying that c1 passivity is AI for me, later on, for sure, but not c1. 2. My village games have three purposes. Win, remember what it's like to be in the village mindset, and use some elim habits I've noticed to make it harder to ID me as elim in the later games. 3. So what I'm saying is, just because it was an elim tell previously, doesn't mean it is going forward. But still, draw your own conclusions, this is just me explaining nearly every single mix that has happened or will happen in the future. -
