  1. Except it's kinda not either? Like, he's trying to explain why Coffee would hold back info and how that's not antivillage.
  2. Yeah, I didn't ask him if I could. Doesn't really feel in spirit of ONW to me. Also, like I told Aet, that would have been boring.
  3. Aet is claiming to have started as Kel, but I'm considering a Coffee/Aet e/e world. I feel his actions don't line up with v! Or n!Aet
  4. I find it kind of odd how you're defending Coffee so strongly here, why would either a villager or the neutral you claim to be be so invested why someone else held back information a bit longer than necessary? Edit: Referring to Aet
  5. You want a ladder to get out of your tunnel? Am I voting you? Is Coffee here actively posting and engaging rn? To be fair, I am a little bit annoyed that Kas was on the right track before going 'Drake knows best.' I'm not too worried about it though, I trust Kas to re-evaluate here. There's no lie to catch. The swapped players don't learn they were swapped and I don't get to know either of their roles. My role is profoundly useless for everything except causing chaos.
  6. You know, "reaction test" isn't a Get Out of Jail Free card. Like, it has to actually serve a purpose or be able to identify something. (Partially looking at you Stick, but everyone does it and it's silly) Who is this Lily you two keep talking about?
  7. So, uh, yeah, you answered your own question. Coffee is either someone we very much want to kill or someone we very much don't want to kill with no in between. How does that not make sense? As for me claiming quicker, this is a game where claiming is necessary. There's no reason not to share greater information. Not wanting to reveal is actively reaction and claim seeking to try to blend in on Coffee’s part. There's no reason for a v!Coffee to hold back there. It's antivillage.
  8. Pretty sure that's not how my role works. Great argument.
  9. LightRinger is claiming Matchmaker. They whitetexted it earlier. Kinda pulled names out of a hat. Distrowise I think they're fairly unlikely to be E, though I have no idea how much the CadCom balanced this.
  10. Gotta come out with my Spike-guns blazing. I love Stick thinking I of all people would be anti-claiming somewhere above, I lost the quote. Eh, I'm chilling. Figure there's about a 50/50 whether Coffee is Kel or an elim.
  11. Now, that's odd because I'm the hemalurgic troublemaker, and I think there can't be two of them. I swapped RBM and Lightringer for what it's worth. Tentatively Coffecat
  12. ? Your pfp made me think you were Stink for a second.
  13. personally im probably not going to claim BTW, i think that ruins the fun. all ill say is im part of the Rebels team
  14. Sounds like something an Inquisitor would say.
  15. Yeah, I can't run especially a LG right now. On to one of you two @Kasimir @Araris Valerian
  16. I had a roller-coaster of emotions, realizing I might not be able to play with when this starts, then realizing it's only a 4 day game and therefore I can.
  17. Ah who need to read the rules I'm in
  18. It was too easy for them to make a deal and have mutual trust I think. It didn't actually happen because both IEs were pretty inactive, but they could have safe. It seems kinda cross to the purposes of this game to have a place for such easy trust. It's definitely not necessary, but could be a consideration for a re-run.
  19. My highlight of this game was devising increasingly more devious ways to beat Faction One while Kas posted about Pokémon on the discord. Also, this " I absolutely do not buy for a single second he’s told us his real faction." Combined with me wholeheartedly trusting whenever Kas even implied someone was on his faction, is just beautiful.
  20. Hey, it worked out alright? I told Kas once, but I'll say it again, I'm not cut out for this PM spidering. I've always wanted to give it a try, but now I have and its not for me. I'll stick to claiming to Kas and tinkering with my mechanics in the corner while he solves.
  21. Sorry RBM, wish you could have won with us. Thank you @Araris Valerian for this wonderful game and ruleset. Thanks to @Elandera for IMing. Good job to all the other teams, you foiled my plans to end this game much sooner. Something something about truth being the only path to victory. I'm looking forward to all the docs. As for the rules, I think they were pretty dang balanced. IEs should probably be able to take each other out for the win. The actions felt pretty good, though I hesitate if that would have worked with 4 person factions. Having to decide which of Redirect, RB, Mark and Protect to not do was such a hard choice every round that 4 player factions would make much simpler. Vote Manip was kinda eh. Could have been simplified to a Sooth for the same affect, or could have removed the loss of your own vote to make it actually swing a 1-vote difference. A Riot isn't really necessary here. Roleblocks and Redirects were better balanced than we ever realized. Good job on those. The Mark Scan might have gotten some us with a 4 person team, but it was very underwhelming. Maybe as a free action? An interesting idea I had was give the Scan to IEs in addition to the Mark. It would help the knowledge gap and give them some additional leverage in alliances. Overall really liked this game and would play a re-run even as it is in a heartbeat. It was right up my alley.
  22. Carrot and the stick, eh? This isn't as convincing as you think, or at least it shouldn't be. If RBM sides against us, we just do the same thing. My team, however, has taken precautions to make RBMs win as likely as possible working for us. I'm confident in my win regardless (which you obviously aren't, seeing your tactics), so I can expend resources to help RBM.
  23. Not that it would have mattered unless you guys were doing sneaky VM over there.
