  1. It's one cycle /shrug. I think you'll be fine. (Note, I thought I sent this earlier, I'm going to distro assuming you stay, I'd rather have you at low effort in the beginning than not have you at all, and I think most villagers would agree). I'm not going to officially close sign-ups until I have the distro to a point where I'm actually sending PMs out, but if someone signs up and makes me use a 10 person distro I'll happily glare at them.
  2. @Aeoryi @Aeternum @RoyalBeeMage @Stick. @Mat @CadCom @Kasimir @Wierdo @Araris Valerian I think I'll just make do with 9 players if Exp doesn't get back. Also, rollovers will officially be at 7:30, as will game start.
  3. I currently have it at 9:30 AM Mountain Time. I can fudge it a little if necessary (in fact, I may have to) but it shouldn't go lower than 7:30.
  4. Two days until I would like this to start, @DrakeMarshall and @Faerie Braids are the only ones yet to respond. Just one more person to get up to 10.
  5. This Sunday, assuming we can get a tenth person or figure out Wit. Yeah, it should be starting on the 26th (not checking for sure, give or take a day). But this game does have 48 hour cycles, so if you can get roughly 4-5 posts every 4 days, you could probably maintain enough activity. Alternatively, something could be worked out with @Ashbringer, who is currently signed up as a Pinch-Hitter. Ultimately, it's up to you, we probably don't need you to join to get this started, so if you're not confident and can't work something out with Ash, you can feel free to just spectate.
  6. @Faerie Braids @DrakeMarshall @ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ You were either signed up or spectators before. How do current circumstances look? If just one of you can join, we will have enough. The game can really start whenever, but I would suggest essentially a week from today, next Sunday. The new rollover would be 9:30 AM Mountain Time. Current yeses are: Aet, Aeo, RBM, Stick, Araris, Mat, Kasimir, CadCom, Wierdo And Ash as a Pinch-Hitter.
  7. I'm going to ping everyone involved tomorrow to see where we're at.
  8. Finished an Unkindness of Magicians by Kat Howard. It was really fun. There was a bit of a rocky start, with two viewpoint characters blurring together, but they get split apart pretty well by the midpoint. Apparently it has sequels, but it had an amazing ending on its own, like probably the best standalone ending for a first book that I've seen. Parts of the worldbuilding didn't get across as well as they could have, but it was clear they were there. I completely bounced off of the Terraformers by Annalee Newitz. Didn't like the worldbuilding from page one, the summary didn't encourage me nor was it even that accurate to the contents of the early book. Now, finally, onto the Path of Daggers by Robert Jordan. I'm looking forward to it. Also listening to Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch. I've read it a bunch of times, but I'm doing a listen through the series. I actually like this narrator. He's pretty good.
  9. I've been in Salt Lake City proper about three times, in the airport several other times, and have driven through even more times. It has yet to be for anything related to Brandon or Dragonsteel. My life is weird.

I'll add that I don't live really anywhere near Salt Lake or Utah. I live a roughly 13 hour drive away.

  10. If you don't blatantly and explicitly leave no room for error on who exactly you want exed, well. It's basically your fault if you don't do that..
  11. Kas, you'll trust me one of these days. It will probably be because of a mech clear, but it will happen. Edit: I managed to tie against everyone in the ghost duel. That's certainly a feat.
  12. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! GG elims, excellent work and confunglry. I look forward to reading your doc, I hope you made it exciting for me. Thank you @DrakeMarshall for GMing an excellent game and for an amazing duel to end it all, even if the good guys lost. Thank you @Araris Valerian for IMing it. This was quite fun, even if being village makes me want to pull out my brain and bash it into a more convenient shape.
  13. I'd like to do a show of hands sorta thingy with every signed up to play or spectate to see who's up for that one or a different ruleset more designed for low player counts. That would also give me a bit of time to make sure I can run a game on my current schedule.
  14. I'd like to sign up for a Quick-fix slot. I'll be working on the ruleset over this weekend.
  15. I can't stay up tonight. I'll leave one last ping to try to get you guys to change your minds. @Quivil @Weaver of Lies @Wierdo Please, at least two of you have to be village. Consider what Cash has done. Has he done anything even remotely v!leaning? Well I have. I voted an elim when they very well could have and maybe should have died. Kasimir, yes Weaver that same Kas that you're using his vote as part of your logic, said he didn't see an e!tell of mine. Maybe that was because, oh I don't know, I'm not an elim? Cash doesn't really have any logic behind going after me. His main reasoning is that I pushed Archer, a villager, something that necessarily must happen in this game. We all get it wrong sometimes. Do you want to know the kicker of that reasoning though? I was pushing Archer in large part because I thought he was e/e with who? With RBM. Who I suspected and voted from d1. Why does e!me consistently push his teammate and vote them at a highly volatile time, then continue to distrust them for another cycle after that? The only reason I didn't keep going after RBM last turn was because, upon what was admittedly a shock seeing Archer flip v, I reevaluated too hard, abandoning a game-long suspicion on the one player we know is e. But I must digress. You may have to kill me to see reason, even if it puts the game into the infinitely wise hands of the gods of Luck and Chance. All I ask, and you should head my words when I flip green, is that you vote Cash after me. Don't let yourselves get distracted by other options. Once I flip, Cash is the best alternative. You can try to go after Wierdo or get paranoid on Aet or whatever, but stay the course. You have a 50/50 shot at this if and only if you vote together. So please, I must say it again to get this across, it's the most important thing I can say. Even if you exe me tonight, you have to remember this, vote together on Cash tomorrow. Do not get separated. I repeat, do not get separated. That's all. If I die, I die, it's not in my hands. TUA out. Fortunae et Fors dii fata nostra statuant.
  16. I don't actually disagree with you. Wierdo is probably most likely to be Cash's teammate, but we only need to exe one, and the chances are better for Cash than Wierdo.
  17. You can check the RBM part with little enough effort yourself. Honestly, that should be enough to put me far above Cash. He hasn't done anything villagery, to the point of staying on me while RBM was exed. Sure, I stayed on him then too, but I tried to exe RBM d1 at a volatile EoD when Kas explicitly wanted to start a train on RBM. Believe the other stuff or not as you wish, but what has Cash done to come anywhere close to that?
  18. So many ninjas goodness Because exing someone else doesn't resolve anything. Exing me kind of does, but exing say Weaver or Wierdo just ends up back at me vs Cash again.
