LG108: A Tale of Rats and Spores
The Unknown Medallion replied to Amanuensis's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm inclined not to. Twin may have been village, but if I used a Crimson pot, I'd be a bit annoyed if it got voted away. Not supporting saving Hoid, but I think BelOh, RBM, STINK, CD could make a feasible team in there. Especially since it seems the elims haven't been under pressure. -

Mega post because I've been busy ??? I don't think this is normal for you? Like, I also don't think you're actually getting really any sus except from Twinstorm who is weird and probably elim. But still, I don't remember that being normal. I remember e!Araris flying under the radar, and not much in particular about v!Araris. This is giving me the biggest elim vibes ever. Especially since it's in defense of Twin. CD is up next after Twin for me. I think it's Too Wolfy to be Village tbh ~ My vote is going on Twinstorm. My I will write my reasoning in my next post/a post to be merged with this one because rollover is close. CD is next in line for me. Hoid ninja'd Me so there's that too. -

I am glad Twin didn't die. I convinced myself Twin is good. Nothing else at the moment. -

Shoot shoot shoot Does e!Twin give a roseite What does e!Twin give What would I do? I'd give a Zephyr for low power, or I'd ask my apprentice for whatever spore I gave them or I'd give a midnight and try to direct their target Twinstorm Hoid Slayer Any takers? Secondary train feels like a good shot, if he flips v we re-examine Twin -

No. Just kidding and busy. I didn't like the train springing up on HS and I think I like it disappearing quickly even less. 1. RBM is your teammate 2. Seems village 3. You don't have a teammate as an apprentice and an eventual protect is better than a scan, kill, steal, or rb. ~ Okay, here's what's going through my head. I'm old, so this is kinda drawing on old meta but hear me out. Elim trains get broken up or countertrained. Village trains tend to stay in the lead. Twinstorm is in an odd in-between, but I think it looks more like attempted counter trains than fizzling. Point two, late trains rarely catch elims imo. Maybe that's just because I'm a common late train, but that's what I think. I think early side trains are best at it. Twinstorm is not one of those. Also consider, two village masters seems a bit odd to me. Rand is as rand is though, so /shrug In conclusion, idfk. Once, I wouldn't have vote here, but I'm trying to participate more d1. Dovie'andi se tovya sagain Twinstorm Edit: I'm probably going to get exed for this later, but whatever. Or I'm right and I'll get Elim killed for it. Either way. -

Freudian slip This was my first line in the Master Doc. I do think there is a solid chance Aman gives both Masters to the village though. I'd probably put it at 50/50 either way. -

Second day, and I don't think poke votes are all that odd. I don't normally do them regardless, but we functionally only have a single point of information: the kill. Everything else is NAI because there was no pressure or true suspicion. I believe CD thinks the elims killed because they thought they were under pressure. What real info? I kinda already made my point above, but posts without votes show nothing. In other news, the Doc kill feels odd to me. Maybe it's a newer player scared of the activity, or maybe it's the grudge Twinstorm (maybe it wasn't TwinStorm, I don't remember) mentioned. Speaking of TwinStorm, a three stack that quick is odd. I'm kinda v!leaning BelOh for following a train here. I think a newbie elim would be less inclined to vote, especially considering his low post count, and if he was coached, I would expect them to say to not follow someone. As for if it's v or e!indicative on Twinstorm, I'm not sure. I kinda don't like the third vote leaving so soon after it got this high. Could be distancing, but I also think the elim team would have suggested a side train by now if TwinStorm was e. -

Nope, I'm just lazy. ~ Illi left the boat under the cover of night. He walked through the dark streets, keeping his hand on a pouch of verdant spores. This island wasn't the bad sort, but times being what they were, he kept it anyways. He would give so much to return to the trail. There, he would not be so alone. And tonight, this trip, it would alleviate that loneliness. At least temporarily. He knocked on the door. A tall blonde woman opened it. She took him in, then said, "One Trail." Illi gave a puzzled and slightly hurt look, but finished. "Many travelers. Nisen, but why?" He trailed off. "There's been talk of Midnight creatures around. Things that can take other people's faces. I had to be sure." She said, reassuring him. Illi shook his head. "They can't do that, they look oily. Not like people. I've told you that before, haven't I?" Nisen waved away the argument. "Come in Il, eat dinner with us. I was not sure I would ever get a chance to again." -

My advice would be to make an Apprentice pot instead. It still lasts for two cycles and an extra person is often worse than a one-to-one PM. I would, right after I voted them out I, too, need to roleplay. -

I'm not really joking, at least, as much as everything I say is a joke. I don't really expect people to give me roseite, but if they did it would be really nice. I can make much more powerful things than everybody else. I think the goal this cycle should probably be activity XP, especially for you Novices and maybe Apprentices. I'm also roughly aiming for max XP, but I doubt it will come into effect. -

Dovie'andi se tovya sagain The gods of Luck and Chance shall decide our fate, I hope you've been up to date with your animal cracker sacrifices. Tis good ~ Illi swept the area clean. A portion of his desk was now free from debris. He set his tools down carefully, with a ritualistic air. First steel, then iron, then silver, he set the blades down near his right hand. In the middle of his workspace, he placed a carefully measured portion of verdant spores. On the left, he set a bottle of water and a small ladle. He scooped some water with the ladle, then brought it above the verdant spores. He didn't pour, simply letting the excess water drops fall onto the spores. He grabbed his steel trowel and waited. A drop fell, hitting a few spores. They expanded quickly, and he controlled their expansion with the trowel. He made the vines as thin as he could. A little bit more water and a deft motion of his trowel folder a new set of thin vines over the first. He continued the process until the vines could grow no more. He had a rather large bundle. He scooped it up and left the room. He carried them over to where Armiel was working. "I've got your vines for the day, where do you want them?" @Araris Valerian -

I've been reading WoBs and have learned things! Flesh spores have been transmuted into bone spores because I misremembered the WoB. Like, for instance, if whoever got the Roseite spore today were to pass it to me, I would be more inclined to protect them with the resulting pot. -

Illi was fond of organization. The same way you might be fond of a relative who you see once a year, that knows a funny joke, but that joke is the only joke they know. Suffice it to say, his room was a bit of a mess. There were bins stacked on boxes, pots placed haphazardly on stacks of paper, but, despite it all, there was precisely zero mixing of the spores. One could look around and tell exactly where the Zephyr, Amberite, or Verdant spores were. You could also tell where the box of nameless bone spores were, but that was more because of their uniquely extreme containment than any organizational schema. He carefully sealed the lid of the box of bone spores. They were very valuable, and he could not risk losing a single one without experimenting on it. They were an interesting prospect, the peculiar bone spores from across the world, but, like the oily blue aethors he had experimented with previously, they didn't seem to be of any aid in his mission. He was beginning to fear he would need to bargain with the dragon in the Crimson Sea. It would be dangerous, but with nearly all of the aethors useless to him, it seemed his only path forward. A knock on his door jolted Illi out of his thoughts. He nearly dropped the box of bone spores, but narrowly regained control of its ungainly shape before it could plummet to the ground. He placed it in a small nook beneath his desk. It was the safest place in the room, unlikely to be disturbed. Illi rose. He stepped over and pulled open the door. He frowned. He adjusted his glasses. "Hmph. I'm very busy you know."
