    Yep! I kinda figured there'd be some vacationing going on. Nice thing about MRs is that you only have to check in every two days. You should be fine. Sounds good, that should be late enough in the game you won't have much to read anyways.

    The Target ran, and the Bounty Hunter followed. Across forests, over hills, and through valleys, the chase continued. The Target, ever evading, the Hunter, never tiring. Then they came upon a small town. The Target found that they could run no farther. Quickly, they disguised themself, and hid among the townsfolk. Then, the tax collectors came. ~ Welcome welcome welcome everyone to MR73 - SE and Taxes. This is a vote weirdness game without revealed votecounts. I will be your GM, and your IM will be @Araris Valerian. Writeups up will be light, as will I suspect most roleplay considering the last one was roleplay only, but this game does take place on Threnody. The village is tax evaders, elims are Fortress dwellers come to collect. This game will start in one week on Thursday the 3rd of July, tentatively at 10:00 PM Central Time. I'm starting a camp then a wrestling tournament around then, so we'll see what that schedule ends up being.     Tin Rinrin arrived at headquarters. "I'm here to see Tin Capone. He's expecting me." The guard nodded, opening the door to let Rinrin in. He walked through the mansion with purpose. He was Tin Capone's chief scout, and he had walked these halls many times. He knocked on Tin Capone's door, not loudly, but not softly either. He knocked with the confidence of an servant so trustworthy he was nearly a friend. Nearly. "Come in," Tin Capone called from inside. Rinrin opened the door and stepped through. Tin Capone, who sat reclined into his chair, smiled at Rinrin. "Welcome back. How was Blackkeep? The people, so welcoming there." "It was burning, sir. The koloss had swept through and trashed it. You were wise to leave when you did." Rinrin told Tin Capone. He nodded thoughfully. "There were Spiked there, servants of the late Lord Ruler. Copper Copper saved me, but I thought it best to find a different town to expand into. I suppose a reward is in order for him." Rinrin nodded along. He was accustomed to the man's ramblings. "And you too of course. I commend your skills once again." Tin Capone will return. ~ Thank you to @Araris Valerian for running this game and especially for making Capone and Copper's deaths ambiguous. I enjoyed roleplaying as them, and I look forward to them again. Congratulations to the elims, and especially @Kasimir, who is proving that he's better at elim than he let's himself think. Or maybe we're just that bad at solving. Hmmm.

    Copper frowned at Keldorn's side eye. He thought he had made it clear that Jox had not initially made it as bloody obvious. It was only later that he rectified his actions. And without any other indication, his words Could be easily mistaken as meaningless. Copper also frowned at Kéamen’s slightly passive aggressive glances. He had provided such just before nightfall, though Copper did intend to provide some addendums to Tin Capone after he finished responding to others. Copper nodded to Teal, who had finally arrived. "Well met. I'm Copper Stopper, of the Metal Mob. I'm here on Tin Capone's business, who has urged me to act differently that ordinarily to develop my skills. Even if you disbelieve that, I invite you to look or ask those who know me, I don't act this way even as an infiltrator. It doesn't come naturally." Copper scribbled some thoughts for Tin Capone. Copper stuffed the paper away to deliver to Tin Capone in the morning. He'd probably have even more by then though. Copper also dug into his underworld contacts through the Metal Mob. They knew people who could cross worlds, called themselves the Discords. They had found a way to contact Lipitor. They claimed they would arrive on the morrow. Copper could only hope.

    "I must admit, I once believed as you. Even still, I often hold my voice if I have no strong beliefs. Then I joined the Metal Mob. They showed me purpose. Wiser men than me showed me that sometimes, violence must be met with violence. If you turn the other cheek, the infiltrators will simply put a coin through that one too. This is not like in the cautionary tales told to us as children, like the Tale of the Tower, where the infiltrators had no true murder weapon, or the Tale of X, where the replacers were impossible to overrun, and also had no controllable weapon. We need information. If we execute somebody, we choose what that information is. If we attempt to create a tie to end no one, at best, no one dies and the infiltrators decide what information we receive. At worst, they subtly vote for someone else and confuse us, slightly like in the Tale of the Stick and Turtle, which @Kasimir, ahem, Keldorn may be able to recall. Then they choose both types of information we receive." Copper, having said his piece, sighed in relief. Now to complete his duties for Tin Capone. Copper frowned at the sky. It was growing late. That had taken him far too long. How did these people handle doing this so often? Copper had found that his only true suspect to recommend Tin Capone accuse was Jox. That was unfortunate, as Copper liked the lad, and found his own evidence lacking, but it was least lacking with him. He also knew that was condemning his voice to mean less, by not engaging with the main trains, but honestly, Copper disliked both of them. Copper thought Lijal was potentially village, and it was impossible to tell for Astrid. They should give Astrid time, or let the mists take her. Simple as that. Copper found himself growing very tired. He hoped he could stay awake for the executions.

    Copper nodded to himself. From the ways the others were discussing, it seemed the boy had opened communications with everyone. Certainly not suspicious quite yet, but the boy had not done so in the past, despite similar circumstances. He had also quickly retreated his stance on Fox one pressed. Not a very good look.

    Copper Stopper stared out across the streets of Blackkeep. He was ready. He could do this. He had been instrumental in the expansion of the Metal Mob in the last town. That had earned him his new job as point man for Tin Capone. This town was a very busy place. Despite his hesitance to create a alternate persona for himself, he had already kept track of the accusations thrown about by the people of Blackkeep. Fox (2) Keldorn, Jox Lijal (1) Fox Keldorn (1) Keamon Of the accusations, Copper only found two to be of note. Keldorn and Fox didn't seem particularly serious in their reasoning, so Copper was quite certain they'd change their minds. Keamon's accusation too, felt fairly ordinary, though Keldorn was perhaps a strange target. Keamon did seem like to type to pick a strange target though, so Copper figured he could excuse that. Jox, though, he was a bizarre boy. He had used his bread delivery as an excuse to create a line of communication with Tin Capone himself. Copper had a feeling Jox had done this with others, but of course he couldn't know without their input. Copper wasn't sure what it meant if his prediction of mass communication was correct, but he thought it was telling that Jox had not done the same in certain similar situations in the past. He also thought it suspicious that Jox had joined Keldorn in accusing Fox. It was early yet in the day, and it could very well have been an opportunistic maneuver. Jox may seem a child, but Copper had looked him in the eyes, and he had an old soul. Perhaps the oldest in this town. If Copper had to suggest a name to Tin Calone, it would have to be Jox, but he would wait for now. Like he had thought, it was early yet.

    The Metal Mob, later destined to become a political force rivaling noble houses, was yet to achieve it's future greatness in the days after Elend's rise. It was a small organization, with power in only a few small towns. Tin Al had had his sights set upon Blackkeep for some time now. It was an ambitious choice, but ambition was Tin Capone's middle name. But it was a very difficult place to get a foothold in, so he would need to oversee it's acquisition personally. But just because he was personally going didn't mean he didn't need a lackey. A bruiser. Tin Capone himself couldn't go around collecting protection money and breaking kneecaps. That was why Copper Stopper was with him. He would do the grunt work, figure out who's who, manhandle the shopkeepers, and generally carry out Tin Al's every desire. "Now Copper," Al began, "You did well last time, but I expect more now. I want daily accounts of everyone of note in the town." "Sir? I don't know if I can do—" "You can do what I tell you to do. Nothing more, nothing less. I'll also expect regular analysis of their opinions once we get to that point, speculation as to actions that seem to have hidden motives, that sort of thing. Understood?" "Yes, sir!"

    No vote manipulation? Sign me up! I'll be Copper Stopper, father of Copper Copper (of MR63). Copper Stopper was canonically killed by a copper, so it'll be quite amusing if I manage to survive this game.

    I could do this if you'd like, or you could with this technique. It looks ugly as all get out, but using the little quote button, the plus next to the word, you can collect a whole bunch. These collected quotes will stay with you through thread changes. So you can just go down the convo clicking the button, then go to the thread and click "Quote X Posts"
