  1. —We will attend the meeting in person. Would simply sacrificing the more... dangerous weapons suffice?—
  2. The Tentaculum arrive at the meeting early as is normal for their people. Flanked by one of their destroyers, they dock. The Grand-Emperor steps out of his ship in an odd suit that is half filled with "water." It rolls forward for a moment while he analyzes the air. Finally, he steps out, though still wearing a smaller suit to stay "hydrated." He approaches the door to the meeting chamber, where is stopped by a message being broadcast in the Tentaculum language. No weapons? —This is an outrage!— he screams over the radio. —to ask me to part with my weapons!—
  3. The Grand-Emperor will attend representing the Great House of Blood. The Great House of Blood remains silent.
  4. The Great House of Blood considers. It responds soon enough. Free for Nerdy.
  5. The Great House of Blood, its capital building now bustling with activity, responds. Free for Nerdy to read.
  6. The Great House of Blood seems unfazed and transmits a message to all of its citizens to beware House Skyvivid propaganda. It begins massing a new fleet of ships that will make the stars tremble. —Transmission— —Radio Signal from the Great House of Blood— —Open Communication targeting House Skyvivid— Static crackles The Great House of Blood will continue to deny service to House Skyvivid, until a public apology is made. No such apology has been made, and it appears that House Skyvivid feels no remorse. An apology is also expected for the propaganda announcement made earlier this week. Static crackles If no apology is made, more drastic measures of showing the displeasure of the Great House of Blood may be used. Do not make us use them. 7. The Great House of Blood hereby sanctions House Skyvivid, and places an embargo on sales of all air and other goods to and from House Skyvivid, for rampant and illegal spying and invasion of private documents.
  8. The Tentaculum make no response, save a short firing of their propulsion to slightly change course. Shortly after, the Tentaculum armada splits two smaller elements, sending them in two directions.
  9. The Great House of Blood sends an armada towards the Astor System?. Their purposes are unclear, but the Tentaculum are known for little other than war. @Matrim's Dice
  10. But then you won't have to be concerned about e!TJ!
  11. I definitely cannot run the LG until after football, or maybe just further into it once the schedule is more consistent.
  12. I think it's fine. Bigger is better in my opinion, though I don't think that's shared. Are you going to use one of those galaxy map maker things, or just the that?
  13. @Kasimir Is it too late to say I told you so? @Matrim's Dice, how much did you relay to Kas? I kept meaning to make him confirm you were, but was forgetting and running out of time. I'd love to see some of the other admissions essays, and definitely would like others to see mine. Edit: I am also glad to see that the code was frustrating for you. Btw, "Option B" was Bodyguard, and "Option A" was Assassin. So like the most obvious code ever.
  14. The Great House of Blood 1. Military (Cut above the rest, think of the US, regarded as one of the biggest and best. Their military is twice as good in a conceptual sense) 2. Intelligence (Very good in regards to military intelligence and also enhanced by their ability to easily intercept radio waves, average when not related to war) 3. Resources (pretty much average, maybe slightly below) 4. Transportation (Below average, but not particularly notable) 5. Cohesion (Very poor, except in times of war, when it's below average) The WAR OCTOPUSES are bloody ready to go!
  15. So, good news, I'm not in Imre any more. Bad news, I'm on the streets. So @Kasimir, yes, but preferably not yet.
  16. So who thinks they're the best at war? Cause that's who the Tentaculum would ally with.
  17. *Slowly realizes he's just made the Careers* But yes this is logical and just fits how the words works anyways. The MURDER OCTOPUSES are good at war, the other guys do this, the other guys do that. We? I've only written... two real subclasses and a race. And I haven't even finished the race. But yes, experience (no, not that Experience), is key.
  18. Can I please be in the PM? I like the idea of everyone giving themselves a default action if they miss a period. A sort of just in case, but it can be decided by each player so they have some control. Could we maybe just have a public thing "Rumor has it that TKN has been investing in better ships" then have a little Spoiler that we honor system don't look in saying along the lines of:
  19. Didn't even realize you got more points for a better essay. Putting my under fifteen minute three paragraph essay to shame.
  20. This is actually true for everyone I believe, 2 and 3 have the highest average gain (1.5/+50%). Note on Imre @Kasimir, the gram is now out of stock. The Bloodless is too, but we can guess why that is.
