  1. Don't worry about it, I got him to take out the clause that required you to read the rules. Edit: @DrakeMarshall, spose this will serve as notifying you that I, TUO, am now Ookla the Benefflicted.
  2. I'll sign up as Cillian O'Cillian, son of Cillian, a Sailor from a long line of sailors. Sea shanties run through his veins.
  3. I'm out until spring. Wrestling season ftw.
  4. What sounds best/seems most realistic:

    1. The Blade of the Rebellion

    2. The Knife of the Rebellion

    3. The Blade of the Revolution

    4. The Knife of the Revolution

I think "Blade" sounds better than "Knife" but it's also more cliche. Knife might work better depending on what you're going for.

I'd need to know a little more context to decide between Rebellion and Revolution.

Generally, I think 1 and 4 work better than 2 and 3, respectivley.

It's a folk name for a leader of the uprising. He's a knife fighter who collects knives, but I'm toying with a group that acts as an antagonistic force being called the Blades of Achadame (the nation).

  5. God-Emperor of Dune is a deeply intellectual book. I thought Dune was okay. I liked it an average amount, though it was not an average book. It simply strayed from the norm in ways I found canceled each other out. I actively disliked Dune: Messiah. The things that Dune did averagely or badly, it did worse, and it did not do other things better. I first saw the change in Children of Dune. I found the first part of the book boring, though it was helped by having quite a bit of interesting tension and more int. After that first part, the tension didn't fade, but the worldbuilding and characters grew even more interesting. I found it thought provoking, but, as with the previous books, I didn't really like the plot. God-Emperor of Dune carried through everything that Children did right, but it had an interesting plot, the most interesting and compelling character I've ever read (the primary character that first appeared in Messiah, to not give spoilers), one of the most interesting characters I've ever read (other major viewpoint that was introduced all the way back in the first book), and some of the most intriguing thought experiments I've ever seen. Legitimate 10/10, I will 100% be reading it again, and thinking about it until I do.

      I don't doubt it.

...It was also too weird for me to get more than a fourth of the way into it the one time I tried to read it.

Some day I might give it another go.

I found it to be the only time when the series' prose, which is about as dense as lead, was actually helpful in getting its point across.

I also like weird point of views, so /shrug

  7. I did nothing! Apparently I didn't have time for a QF. Good job Kidpen, Aeo, and Aet. Thank you @Sart for running this game!
  8. I was on after the Raven vote but before cycle close. Edit: (I thought it was at 5:00 again, so I panicked at 5:30, realized it ended at 8:00, but saw no reason to post)
  9. *shakes again, frowns, holds it up* Split halfway between yes and no.
  10. *shakes magic 8 ball* Prospect unlikely.
  11. Man, that's a PM wasted.
  12. I mean, not really when one of the elims actually was that role.
  13. I'll just straight up claim Phone Operator. I have two Guard actions anyways. We're safe atm.
  14. That's, um, wow. Does that clear Kidpen? It has to right?
  15. I don't know, I figure it's pretty simple, don't target each other with main actions and elim kill will figure itself out. If we even have a medic, it's better if they just don't use their action. It allows everyone to guard which I'm 90% sure will work out better than trying to guess the kill target.
  16. I'll sign up. Character to maybe come later.
  17. No preference. I don’t normally vote d1 and this d1 is less certain than most. I'll probably self press on a Basement dweller if given the choice.
  18. That's actually decent logic Father, (Sart). @Sart care to reveal where you have ventured?
  19. Can just make it clear that, one (1), I did not, am not, and will not advocate for exing or even being suspicious of those who explored the basement. I said some people might think that, and why thinking that isn’t completely stupid, but not that I agreed. And two (2), I explicitly stated that where Keißer explored has no relevance to where I explored (if you know me well, you could probably guess where, but I actually messed up and said the wrong location so who knows).
  20. I think it's important to recall the context where I first mentioned this. I wasn't (and am not) extolling it. I put it forward as a method that certain people (I was referencing you cause I wasn't sure on your logic for voting Aeo, I figured it was along those lines) might use. I don’t know how it's supposed to be opportunistic when I'm not using the opportunities that viewpoint would give me.
  21. ... There is a ⅓ chance (give or take) that we're in a standard SE game. That standard SE game has the most elims. The elims in a standard SE game are weighted towards Basement explorers. Therefore, people who explored the basement are more likely to be Elim than anyone else. By similar logic, people who explored the ground floor are least likely to be elims. It's far from certain in all cases, but statistically relevant.
  22. If people truthfully claimed where they explored, there are some people who are more likely to be e! Than others. Namely those who explored the Basement. I don’t really expect people to be entirely truthful on this front (I'm certainly not), but it’s a reasonable method.
  23. Hey! I asked who wants to die, I didn't say I want to die. And I'm tapped out for roleplay. Not sure about the instant double up, but I'll forgive it cause Lego seems to be going low effort.
  24. When Keisser returned from the basement, he seemed to have aged ten years. A scraggly beard had sprouted. It was discolored by the same dried blood that flaked the rest of his body. He smiled, the teeth that weren't missing were stained yellow. "Who would like to die today?"
  25. Keisser strolled through the door as everyone started to disperse. He looked around the abandoned house, nodding to himself. "Howdy folks! How're all y’all doing? What's this about a butler?
