"...Wow. At least one of us is gonna die." She noted.

Elsie took a deep breath. "Okay. What is this prophecy, exactly?" @Scars of Hathsin @The Aspiring Archivist

Elsie looked like she was having a mental breakdown. "I... She... The heck kinda prophesies are you guys getting?!?!"

"She WHAT?"

"She'd dead? So, did she write a bunch of letters, and then put them in dated envelopes for people to open when a quest is supposed to happen, or what?"

"Your telling me there are people who can see the gosh darned future?" She said, shocked. She paused. "What was the prophecy?"

"Say what now."

"Wow." She said. "What happens if we all die? Do they send another group?"

She paused and took a second to process. "Are you saying that someone stole for Hades, and then dropped it off at the underworld?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.

Elsie continued to pace. "Alright. So. We're headed to the underworld to steal from her dad," Elsie pointed at Jenny, "because he stole from Zeus. But, then, why doesn't Zeus steal it back? It seems like the sort of thing you'd wanna do yourself, right? And why are we specifically going? Something about a priestess, right? Can someone elaborate on that please?"

Elsie relaxed, relieved that he wasn't going to force her to leave.

"But... I like you guys. If I left, I'd just be feeling constant dread, not knowing if you were dead or alive." She said. "That's worse than small pockets of fear."

She nodded. "Ok."

She paused, and then looked at him. "I... What?" She looked alarmed.

"Do you want a hug?" She asked.

She paused, and walked over to him. She dropped a half eaten bag of jelly beans on his lap. "I'm sorry." She said.

"I mean, the cyclops kinda gave that away. I had just hoped..." She sighed. "I don't want to have to watch anyone else die..." She explained.

A look of panic briefly flashed across her face before she forced it back. "Okay..."

She smiled nervously at him. "Do you know what quests normally entail? Do... Do people normally end up dying?"

"Oh. Yeah. I guess I'm getting a bit anxious. I've never accidentally joined a quest before."

"Hm? What's what?" She asked.

Elsie stood up and started pacing again. She was getting anxious.
