K, despite what y’all may think, I don’t fully hate Valentines Day.

I think it’s an alright holiday to celebrate love and all that jazz even if the holiday was made by card companies, but what I don’t like about Valentines is the advertising. Lemme explain what I mean.
I could be doing whatever on a nice February day, listening to music or just watching some good ol’ YouTube instead of doing schoolwork, and something like this will happen:

Ad: Hey >.>
Me: Yeah?
Ad: Valentines is just around the corner >.>
Me: Yeah, it’s an alright holiday.
Ad: People are in relationships >.>
Me: Yeah, and that’s good for them. I’m happy for them.
Ad: They’re happy in their relationships >.>
Me: Yeah, and I’m happy not being in one.
Ad: You can never be complete without a significant other >.>
Me: Yeah, and I don’t really care right now??
Ad:
Me:
Ad: You’re lonely (눈‸눈)
Me, on the floor in tears: You didn’t have to call me out like that.

Basically, I don’t like the oversaturation of the idea that you always need to have a significant other to be happy, when in reality I have been just fine without one. I also don’t like how all the advertising calls me out as a lonely person, but that’s a minor note.

Anyways, the day of Valentines itself, good day; advertising, personally attacks me 90% a joke.
