  1. QF50. I had a lot of wallposts in QF50. : P
  2. I genuinely don't remember you pointing it out... I spent the first couple of cycles struggling to stay engaged in this game and I'm not totally sure why. Over the weekend, especially, I was really exhausted for some reason? Anyway that's why the way I'm playing changed at the end of last cycle. Again, struggling to engage. Wanted to vote someone. etc. My only reason for voting her C1 was how fast TUO responded to the vote on her. Once TUO flipped vil, that connection disappeared, and I'd never had an elim read on Liranil in the first place. So I was back to square 1 null with her. And then I read her posts last cycle and they read village to me. So yeah, I admit that my reason for voting her, and later TUO, in C1 was dumb--but again, I was kinda out of it for C1 : P I've definitely done wallposts as vil... but I do them as elim too, so they're kinda NAI for me at this point. ...well yeah, they were wishy washy. It was C2, in a game where no one had said much of anything. Like, half the people on Liranil's list had less than five posts. How am I supposed to construct concrete reads from that? Also, note that at the time I wrote that I was thinking of it as an in-case-I-die kind of thing. The reasoning I had on Ash was basically that he's acting the way he did in the AG, but the problem there is that he said he would be less active this game, and at any rate his actions in the AG weren't that dissimilar to his village play, so at this point I'm not sure he's even worth following through on.
  3. No, no, Illwei you're supposed to bus Connie, not me!
  4. Um what doc??? Edit: oh wait nvm you're doing the same thing you did with... yeah okay got it
  5. I also disagree with this. Claiming elim is really not that big of a deal. Easiest thing to do is just ignore it (in terms of actual reads--yes I know I voted Connie but I wasn't planning to keep my vote there : P). Just because someone says something about themself doesn't mean they're telling the truth--or that they're lying. Trying to seriously analyze elim claims is just an endless IKYK/WIFOM situation waiting to happen. Yeah, my thoughts on elim claims: they're harmless and probably best ignored for the most part.
  6. Right, I guess I should have mentioned that I think the kind of chaos caused by a villager claiming elim who's never done so before is not the kind that hurts the elims. Because worst case scenario, people decide to trust that villager for it (great, obvious NK target!), and best case scenario that person gets mix'd for it (from the elims' perspective I mean). There is no situation in which a villager claiming elim hurts the elims, as far as I can tell.
  7. You may not be able to explain this but I can, having been on the receiving end of it. When enough players in a game are chaotic enough, the elims can never be sure what's going to happen. The village vig, who had hitherto suspected none of them, might decide to shoot one of them in the last five minutes of rollover (QF50 C2). The exe target might switch to an unsuspecting villager at the last minute (QF50 C2) and if that person was your NK target... (I mean, Ash wasn't but it's still something that you have to worry about with chaos). Or the exe target might switch to an elim last-minute (QF50 C1). and so on and so forth. If the elims can't predict what villagers are going to do, they can't react to it, and it makes their job a lot harder (I'm sorry, but the first 3 cycles of QF50 were a nightmare for the elim team so that's where my examples are coming from).
  8. I'll join you on Kings_Way. They haven't posted much but this post... ...indicates that they're paying attention. I'd expect a mostly inactive player jumping in just now to at least mention that they need to catch up on stuff, right? But Kings gives no explanation for their absence and seems to be perfectly well aware what's going on (knowing that Orlok was mostly inactive but there were still elim kills so Orlok couldn't be a singular elim? right?). Maybe I'm reading into that too much but whatever. ...why would it make me elim to bring that up so fast? It was one of like three posts in the thread at the time, and it seemed off to me. Why wouldn't I bring it up? Reasoning?
  9. Nah I saw that I was elim and decided I wanted to play without TMI, obviously
  10. Imagine how fun a me/you/Mat team would be XD
  11. *rubs eyes* I'm not a messenger. C1, I messaged TJ and Illwei messaged me. C2, I messaged Gears. Just now, C3, I messaged you, Matrim. I have created one PM per cycle. So, I mean, I guess I could be a messenger faking vanilla but honestly I don't see you tinfoiling like that. And for the record, I'm not elim either. Though I guess there's no way for me to prove that.
  12. rubs eyes I'm almost tempted to suggest we exe you... why is that... I shouldn't be... I should just disregard this... I... fine why not! Connie.
  13. What does Doctor Who have to do with it? XD (tinfoil: Orlok was the Doctor but didn't post in-thread due to being busy--so now that he's been replaced, we should see a significant change in tone from the Doctor because they are now Connie). And of course I don't believe you! I mean, I don't not believe you either... basically I'm disregarding the claim for the time being.
  14. I am a tinfoil addict! I provided some nice, crunchy tinfoil in the form of an elim!Archer theory last cycle! Compared to that, tinfoiling elim!you is too easy to bother XD
  15. But that still isn't-- yeah no this makes me think Connie's vil XD
  16. Wait, isn't Connie the one who never lies? Then again, all she said was that she's claiming elim, not that she is elim... though she hasn't actually claimed elim yet so that's a lie too, technically.
  17. I changed my mind. Looked through the Hospital doc to see if I could get anything useful out of it (spoiler alert: I didn't). Huh, that's... not a bad point. I also find their first post this cycle oddly performative: Yeah, idk maybe it's nothing but I guess that kind of feels off to me. I wouldn't actually call that tinfoil. I think that's in reality a little something called a "valid point". Since Archer didn't actually have a PM with anyone, the elims would think that Archer's PM partner was a villager (because they would know it was one of them). They could kill Archer to try to frame whoever that person was. Or, if they killed Archer for other reasons, they could then realize he "had a PM partner" and take advantage of that as a way of getting a villager exed (once Archer announced who he was PMing). Let's see, the people who suggested we look into Archer's PM partner were... Illwei, TJ Shade (confirmed vil), myself, and Matrim. Great. Myself, a confirmed (dead) villager, and two people who I'm reading as vil for the moment. Just fantastic. sighhh idk why I'm quoting this we know it's not true : P I'm a little confused by Archer's song (though I do like it--once this game is over you should post it in SEAcropolis lol) but I think he's saying he trusts Dannex here and doesn't want Dannex exed? idk Could be Archer thinking that Gears is elim (like Plum Rhino in the AG)... but it could also just be a reference to Gears' playstyle this game (journal entries, everything in character) which is something that Ash/Rhino did in the AG. idk susses Brighteyes and Reading? I guess? : P anyway, maybe someone else can parse this better lol Aww that's so sweet of you :3 I feel so special being listed after Matrim and a set of ellipses as vil reads XD
  18. Wait, why was TJ's alignment announced? He wasn't exed. He should have--oh. Right. Hospital sabotaged. Got it. Also I can't believe I'm alive. I always lose ties. (AG7, LG72...). Huh, well this is nice. I only make it to C3 in a slim majority of my games XD Slightly doubting my assertion that the Doctor is Gears... but only slightly. idk, I can't tell at this point. We've had our question about Archer's PM answered--there wasn't one. I don't really know what to do with the rest of Archer's theories though. : P
  19. Yes lol Edit: great now it's a tie. Why does this always happen.
  20. Awww c'mon I literally just finished putting together an unofficial VC. Also @Illwei I hadn't even realized that TJ voted on Brighteyes in the first place because I skimmed that section of the thread and he'd moved his vote to me before the point where I started my analysis : P I thought he just suspected her and wanted to start a vote on her. (and I was right--the last time Brighteyes posted, the only vote on her was me. idk, if I were her I wouldn't have been too concerned, given that at the time there were 3 votes on me.)
  21. When she posted her most recent post, there was only one vote on her. So idk why she would think that.
  22. Has she even been on since the train on her picked up? If not, then there's your answer. If so then I have no idea. And no, the vote on Brighteyes wasn't just a selfpres; like I said, I wasn't planning on voting on anyone until I went through and read the last couple of pages of the cycle more carefully.
