  1. thanks, I am happy with the theoretically unlimited energy, but I have run into a new problem, the opposite can also be true. to put it simply you can make water immediately freeze, but now I need to figure out if the energy the water had is A) consumed/destroyed. ejected directly into the surrounding air. or C) a tiny part of the water gets all the energy and immediately evaporates. I am leaning toward C because its the most interesting/fun, but the magic system messes with this a little spoiler because it starts getting a bit more long winded as I go more into the magic system
  2. Not sure if the frustrated writers support group is the right place for this, but I learned that when I give myself a concrete goal like blank words in a month I can totally pump out a chapter or two a day (this does not make the chapters high quality, and now I need to edit all of them, but still) in other news I made a source of unlimited energy in the form of animated fire that provides heat without needing fuel, and I don’t know if I need to do something to prevent that from being a problem, or if it would cause too much of an issue.
  3. The less pinecones there are in the world the faster they grow when planted, leading to overharvesting and destruction of pine trees around the world. people use what cones there are as weapons, growing a entire pine tree in seconds, breaking through concrete walls, lifting a speeding car, or draining all the nutrients from the soil, all of these are things that can be done. Rainstorms
  4. each size shoe grants a different power to its wearer, but while the shoe has to be worn correctly, it doesn't have to fit well, so people with small feet can access more powers than those with large foot. the smaller the shoe the more powerful, for example massive clown shoes just let you make rainbow bubbles, while baby shoes can let their wearer generate a near impenetrable shield. as a result of small shoes being more powerful people generally use young children as their apprentices to fight their battles for them, leading to the totally original series the shoe shop wars, by Brennen Mole. the patterns on socks
  5. In this world all music makes use of base drops, and for good reason, a good base drop will renew all around it when it plays, the bigger the build and more satisfying the pay off the better the result, good base drops have been known to mend broken objects, cure disease, and in one mythical concert even raise the dead. recently music has been restricted by the Agency for Control of Base Drops Excluding Fairly Gradual and Highly Incredible Jumps that Kinda Lower the Melody, (ABCDEFGHIJKLM) a truly despicable alphabet agency. Backpacks
  6. The Tassels on Graduation Caps capture an echo of a persons spirit, which the person who has them can use to summon that echo to serve them, the education system has reclaimed hundreds of thousands of these tassels, renting out the echo's as cheap laborers. (its necromancy, I necroed this thread) night lights
  7. you spelled R wrong, I'm Batman
  8. did you ever get around to it? (necro, but I think its worth it for the joke)
  9. I started a story that I've worked on on and off for a year or two, but every time I get around to writing I make a new magic story and get distracted outlining a vague narrative for a new world with said new magic system. (on the bright side I have a solid backlog if I ever finish.) I like hiding sentences for no reason, if there is a dark mode then this is a lot less hidden
  10. Dwight and Studio C mostly, random tidbits of stuff especially around general conference.
  11. Happy birthday!!

  13. Happy birthday Gak!

  14. actually walking and brother kicking are done with the feet, the legs are used in running and sister kicking, though the latter is frowned upon in polite society. polite society is in fact not a acronym, nor should anyone ever make it one.
