For the quarterly report, I am unhappy to say that we are still dirt poor. -
I'm not even sure why someone said I should be here. Like, if I had to describe myself in two words, it would probably be, "Small ego," because I probably have the smallest ego out of everyone here.

All words left him high and dry when someone opened the door. What was he doing? Luke thought he was ready, but that man- Romero? Didn't seem right. What other kind of people were brought to a place like this? People who are going to threaten him with magic swords? Perhaps he shouldn't have knocked on the door, but it was already too late. Someone was smiling at him, but obviously waiting for an answer. While searching for the words, Luke noticed she was hiding something and his anxiety spiked. We should go we should go we should go- he glanced at Silk, who gave him a look, and Luke felt like he could hear him talking, Don't let emotions dominate you, analyze the situation. And he- he was right. First, the person. don't make a worse impression then you already have. Luke tried to untie his tongue, "Um, my- er, Silk said I should come here." @Sorana

Luke watched as the door pulled itself back together. Huh. I guess they didn't notice me. "I think we are at the right place Silk" and how could they not be? None of that was normal. People dissappearing, armor appearing, and he didn't understand what it all meant. After an affirmative from Silk, He left his hiding place from the wall that hadn't been destroyed, and knocked on the door.

Luke watched all of it from outside. "Right place is," Silk added, and yeah, he was probably right.

The night before christmas and all through the shard
not a sharder was stirring, not even Channelknight Fadran.
The status updates were posted on the forums with great care
In hopes that they could cheer just one person there.
The sharders were nestled all snug in their beds
while visions of crustaceans danced in their heads.
With the mods in their slumber, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our posts for a long christmas nap.
When out on the forum there arose such a clatter
I sprang to my computer to see whats the matter.
Away to the screen I flew like a flash
tore away the screen saver and threw up the tab.

Young was not particularly bothered by being carried. What he was more concerned with was his newfound information. He hadn't learned a lot, but it was a start. Now he just needed to break the news to the rest of the party. At least, he would if he didn't notice several figures jumping across the plateaus toward them "Um... Guys?"

Taken is panting from exertion, "Yeah, it really is a work of art."

Taken goes deep into his forest and creates a sword using 110 power. Only someone, no matter where they hail from, with a pure heart, true intentions and the soul of a hero can wield it. Each turn, the sword siphons 3 power from Taken's income, making itself stronger. Taken can also choose to inject power into the sword at any time he deems necessary. Taken, however, can't decide to take power from the store. the transaction only goes one way.

Subjectively, I will always prefer Mistborn Era 1 because it was where I started in the cosmere, and the books will always hold a special place in my heart (I have read them 7 times) Objectively I think that Mistborn Era 2 has a smaller cast so they can spend more time on the wax and wayne dynamic instead of all these Breezes and Hams taking away time from our star duo and Marasi I guess.

She gets to fly, split the light around her, control the ground, and I get to... know things? How do I even get this to work? What was it Alena had said? It just... snapped, I guess. His power works differently, so maybe it wouldn't just come to him. What had he been doing exactly? With renewed determination, Young went back to where he was sitting. Again, he asked himself. Why had the ground shattered like that? What had happened here? And again, the knowledge renewed itself to him. After a brief moment of pure knowledge, he returned to the questions. What was he doing? Young was sitting down, and he had asked himself about the planes. He was sitting down... he was touching the plains. did that have something to do with it? Young stood up and walked back out of the shelter, and poked Alena on the shoulder as if to get her attention. Meanwhile, he asked himself. What powers does she have? And his eyes went wide.
