So, I assume that other people also write novels in the comments of google docs. As of right now, mine is at around 200 comments. If it ever stops, it will be above at least 1000 comments. Maybe that's when the sequel will happen.

"The nerve of some people, huh?" Said Twice, all of the sudden next to him. "for instance, I find my own natural odor to be quite pleasant."

"Well that's just it, Sirrug. Anything you don't understand can be used against you." Attin began reaching up to the dark clouds he had made, calling some of them down.

Attin, through Mesh, used Dacke to turn the air around Sirrug thick and slow.

"You might find that difficult," Attin said, restraining the hounds with powerful gusts of air from Mesh, and then setting some of Borutan's birds on fire with Brute and Steel.

Attin lept into action, ripping bricks out of buildings and streets to form golems of stone. He then made similar beings out of all he could find, wood, straw, mud. All charged at Sirrug, in an attempt to overwhelm him. He quickly called two more Venhr aside him, and then prepared himself. Grabbing two puppets at once was straining, even for a fairly skilled Broken. He grabbed four. The one he currently resided in, Hood. Brute. Mesh. And Steel. They loosely surrounded Sirrug, quickly transporting themselves to the site, each filled with Dacke. It was an interesting effect, allowing each puppet to take in and control a sizable amount of Dacke. Not as much as he could hold in one, but far more than just a quarter of that.

Attin grinned. "Good instinct."

Attin sighed. "Well, now, I have use for a Lifted. And I'm running out of options, you see." He prepared Dacke, reaching out to objects in the city.

"Ah, and there he comes now," Attin said as the mountain's top collapsed.

"It's a whole thing. He kills Lifted. He could monologue about it, were he here right now."

"Ah, but why give it away now? That would take away all the fun," Attin said. "Why are you here? And working alongside Borutan?"

"Hye does tend do that to a person. I swear, half the religions in the world were started because some lifted thought too high of themself." Attin watched somewhat casually as the creatures fought. "Sirrug won't stop at these hounds, you know." The Venhr seemed fairly matched with Sirrug's beast. "And if I'm right, he's not the only Broken here."

"Oh, maybe. I'm pretty old. I could probably teach you a few things. Though I guess I'm not a Lifted."

Attin grinned. These hounds were almost certainly the work of Sirrug. He laughed, then spoke, "Let's make a real game out of it, then, shall we?" "I happen to know the Broken who makes these hounds." He turned to the Lifted. "How do you fight them? Really, however you want. I however, like to use a Venhr." He loosed his mist creature on the smoke hounds. It shifted form nearly every second, from a serpent to a crawling man, to a matching hound, as it bounded towards the gaseous creatures.

Attin, with hyper-attuned senses and feeling Dacke, saw the two hounds. "You're going to want to finish that book fast," He said to the Lifted. "Your hunters might number two now". Raising Hood's pale hands toward the sky, Attin called pitch black clouds to quickly cover the sun. There were so many fun things to do with clouds. He then quickly called a creature of his own to lurk around him, appearing as an ironically white mist drifting about him. The use of Dacke energized him.

Attin gave a slight chuckle. "My name is Attin. I want to prevent the death of a Lifted." He didn't doubt that Borutan could kill a Lifted, if he exerted himself enough. "You will want to prepare yourself, regardless. I have heard your hunter is not... kind... to those who use Hye." He lingered near the Lifted. Perhaps he should have worn Mesh.
