  1. Sentry. I have awful sleep schedules.
  2. I think a strong bronze savant would be able to sense ALL investiture, including feruchemy, surgebinding, people with breaths, rhythms, elantrians, fabrials, and spren. I think the life sense of breaths and bronze allomany are similar abilities that works better with detecting their own magic system, but can detect others when strong enough.
  3. I think that she meant that humans as a whole used to be of Odium, not that Kaladin was of Odium.
  4. Can you stop by Nalthis and get me a couple hundred breaths?
  5. I have a theory about how they could do that: 1. We know that the Fused’s spear can forcibly remove stormlight (Investiture). 2. The Fused are cognitive shadows/spren (self aware Investiture) 3. Spren can be trapped in gems So could you capture a Fused in a gem by stabbing them in the gemheart, which would break it, releasing their spren/cognitive shadow. Then, the spear sucks up the Investiture and captures them in a gem.
  6. The Elantrians can use AonDor to turn garbage into food or whatever. This doesn’t take nearly as much training as Forging or the Rosharan version of Soulcasting. They just learn to write what they want in Aons and it happens. This is also more efficient than Roshar Soulcasting because you are only limited by knowledge of Aons rather than the amount of Stormlight you can intake and how many years of practice you have.
  7. I don’t think that the metals can replicate the Rhythms directly. I think it is like trying to replicate the Rhythm of Growth with the Rhythm of Pewter and Zinc. I think that you can’t make a mechanical fabrial exactly replicate a organic one.
  8. Ok, so we know that the Fused’s spear can forcibly remove stormlight (Investiture). The Fused are cognitive shadows/spren (self aware Investiture) So could you capture a Fused in a gem by stabbing them in the gemheart, which would break it, releasing their spren/cognitive shadow. Then, the spear sucks up the Investiture and captures them in a gem.
  9. Where would you put dead shardblades and plate on the list? Invested Entities: Type 1--Sentient Investiture (Spren, maybe seons, anything else?) Type 2--Cognitive shadow (including returned, heralds, fused) Type 3?--Possibly lifeless, possibly bloodsealers' creations? Type 4?--Possibly Awakened objects? Maybe soul-stamped materials? Type 5??--nightblood?
  10. Chapter 15 The Light and the Music They could be leaking light into other gems like a stormlight powered on/off pendulum in the clock so that it spins at a certain rate, like the pendulums in a clock regulates how fast a spring unwinds or a weight drops.
  11. Work form is a gravity spren
  12. Maybe you have to kill them while they are in spren form
  13. There are actually five days in a week and ten weeks in a month
  14. I would go fullborn or nicrosil compounder with breath
  15. That would either make it easier or harder to make fabrials if A. The logicspren give you new ideas and helps you make new fabrials or B. You need to attract the correct logicspren with your specific Intent to control the fabrial.
  16. Didn’t the Scadrains have a disease that severely infected 16 out of 100 people?
  17. Maybe it is just the name of a Rhythm and because Venli is the main character of this book he is going to make that the title. It also fits for a song sung during war
  18. I like that. It’s like adding a mind to control the fabrial instead of it producing a random effect.
  19. Maybe you would need the right type of spren for that order (like a wind spren) in the right type of gem (a sapphire) at the hilt of the shard blade and use the same sort of technology that the Southern Scadrians use in the Connection medallions to fuse the spren and resurrect the blade temporarily.
  20. Chapter 14 Voice Why would you need a logicspren to power a fabrial that already uses a different spren, stormlight, and metals to produce an effect?
  21. What if the material is chromium. Leechers wipe investiture from a target and “return it to the source”. This could be how the blades dissipate the storm light or absorb it into the gem.
  22. It seemed like a malatium vision or a gold vision for Moash.
