Kuno looked over Fie with a critical eye. "You'll have to get rid of that habit fast my friend, we must be observant at all times. To sum it up, this town went through a short crisis, and now there has ben an incredibly quick change of leadership. My intent is to make sure that he is as loyal to me as he was when I promised him help in becoming the Mayor."

Kuno looked at Fie approvingly. "If only everyone had your enthusiasm. We must first begin here, with the new mayor. Are you familiar with what has happened recently in this town?"

"We have to most fast, I feel that this 'Quinn' is likely to do something very stupid without us there to back her up." The colonel picked up his pace as he made his way out of Lord Douger's manor. He pulled out a handheld communication device that he tried to raise Quinn on to no avail. He let out a brief curse before clearing his throat, noting Maddy's presence. "This might be bad."

@Negative_Null and @Matrim's Dice The colonel nodded at Lord Douger. "That's all from me sir, we need to make contact with the rest of the group. Come Maddy, let's see if Quinn has found Kane now."

Just so y'all know, I'll be out of range for internet and service very soon until about Wednesday afternoon. I won't be able to respond to any threads until I get back, so have fun without me, but not too much fun. I also don't want to have to read through 50+ pages of new content, but I have no control over that.

When you can move against your enemy, make them believe that you can't." Kuno was pleased. "My new companion, I believe that we will get along very well. While moving against the enemy is the first priority, it is not our priority at this time. We have two other things we must attend to before we move against the enemy, and I believe that you will be a great help to me."

Kuno was satisfied. "Good man, then we need to move fast. Forces that would see humanity destroyed are moving faster and faster each day, so our best response is to match and surpass them, this is easier said than done. So tell me, how would you outmatch the enemies of mankind?"

Kuno's mind radiated a mirthful attitude. "I appreciate the enthusiasm. You start as soon as you are ready my friend. You'll be working directly with me for a time, then we'll see about other assignments; for now I have use for your skills."

Tulcam nodded. His voice having a sharp tone to it, as he was quite obviously annoyed at how long this was taking. "Tell lord Douger that this will only take a moment, but we need to talk now."

Kuno nodded. "Together, united, we can do great things my friend. I guarantee that you won't be bored. Now, I think I have an idea for where I can put your skills to work. You'll be working very closely with me for now."

Kuno was pleased. "We will see, now won't we? If you're going to help me, then you might end up doing some distasteful things, but everything we do is for the best for all of humanity. The only reason why no one else steps up to save us is because they aren't willing to what it takes to give everyone security. I will ask you once more, are you willing to do what it takes to save humanity, whatever it takes."
