That sword can obliterate armies, destroy mountains, and raze cities. That dragon that Fadran made? Gone in an instant. Whoever wields that sword will become a demigod. Forces of evil, watch out.

@Omi the Counselor "Uh... follow me?" Granny Newell just watched with an odd expression on her face as they begin to head back home. "Hey Alex. Do you want to come over to my place for a minute?"

"Yes. However, may I ask- why do you speak so flowery? I don't disapprove, of course, but... out here, such complicated language will probably alienate yourself from the people."

"Ah!' she says as this enormous bird lands in front of her. It was one of the biggest birds she had ever seen- though as she lived in urban northern england, there wasn't much of a baseline. "Uh... Follow me?"

"Food! I'll give you food if you stop burning things down!" Oh, what was she doing? It's a wild firebird, not a dog.

Xasah and Devan have finally made it to their destination- the huge waterfall. They both collapse immediately next to the pool at it's base. They just lay there for a few minutes, silent and motionless. Finally, Devan drags himself over to the pool and starts lapping water from it- Xasah soon does the same. Then, both still wordless, they shakily stand and begin to ascend a stone ramp up beside the waterfall and leading behind it, which then turns into a large tunnel leading into the further into the mountain. After three minutes of walking through the large, stone tunnel, the only sound being the rumble of the waterfall behind them, Devan breaks the silence. "This place gives me the creeps..." "Hush! Don't provoke... them." Xasah says in a low tone, glancing around "Alright..." Another couple of minutes later, the tunnel begins to widen until it finally dead ends in a huge antechamber. The whole room radiates an aura of ancientness and power, keeping the pair silent. Suddenly, a frenzied whispering begins, appearing to come from the walls. After a couple minutes, a single clear voice rings from the chaos. "Why have you come here, young dragon of the rumbling sky? And you, young Kippie?" "W-we came to inform you that Ironclads have been sighted in the mountains, g-great spirits of the mountains." says Xasah A rumble goes through the chamber, the whispers intensifying. "Impossible. There hasn't been a Rider of the Skies in these mountains for a hundred years. The leaders of the humans swore to never enter these mountains, and have kept that promise for a century." "I heard it, Guardians. It was a horrible sound and-" "You only heard it? Could it not of been something else?" "P-Phaedrus seemed worried, great ones." They seem to consider this for a moment. "Hmm. She is wise, and we especially doubt she would mistake the sound of a Craven. We will investigate. Now, you may leave." "T-thank you, great ones." Xasah finishes, as he turns and begins to run as fast as he can without offending them.

"I was just wandering these parts, with no real rhyme or reason. Though I won't turn down some adventuring gold to bolster my pockets."

"I am Usavi. What brings you here, might I ask?"

"Very well. I can't exactly deny you, now can't I?"

"Ah, I see. Very well." He flips the note over and begins to read.

"Why should I tell you?"

I raise my eyebrows right back. "Well, I just didn't have any change, but what do you have to offer?"

"Well, we can't just stand here. I'm going to walk... this direction." As he promised, he walks in a random direction.

"Well, let's hope you don't mess this mission up because you lied to the recruiters. There's nothing we can do now, however."

"Uh... I guess we just wait, then."

"Uh... Uh, here birdy! I can get you a snack!"

Meanwhile... Xasah and Devan land on a mountaintop, puffing. They had been flying at a tiring full speed and couldn't go any further without a break. "Ironclads? But... I mean, I know they were real, but never... Never did I think..." "I feel you Xasah- they can't be here... right?" "Well something got Phaedrus scared. We need to get to the Guardians..." "Yeah... Yeah..."

"Why are we playing magical poker? What's the point of these cards- just to create chaos?"
