Jaxothxe walks up to the year and cups it in his boney hands and begins to stream magic in a sphere around the tear. He holds it there, contracting it further and further- you can see the intensity of this action on his face, and he had any pores, he would be sweating. Before long however, the tear gives off a quiet pop before disappearing. Jaxothxe then stumbles over to a nearby chair and collapses down. "See? The great Jaxothxe has alleviated this danger! For now, at least."

"No, Jahora, she has a point. I should of stopped after the first joke. She was obviously not in the mood but I kept going. I apologise- but you really did need to open up a little about your past. It's unhealthy to keep stuff like that bottled up, no matter how much you want to keep it a secret."

As we walk, I try out the brass plates, slowly storing heat faster and faster to see if there was a limit on how cold I could get.

"Shall we wait, then?"

"No, what? I clearly heard you say that. You heard it too, right Cadence?"

"Well, how confident are you on this, then, Wola?"

"You... you just said that you had the choice between either removing magic or killing everyone. Oh no, is this some sort of magical amnesia thing?"

"The... "Kill everyone" part? Did I miss something?"

She sits in silence for a moment, a stunned expression on her face. "Oh. That makes more sense. Why didn't you just tell me that?!"

"Oh. Uh... okay. I still don't think messing with the plot is a good idea, but, democracy I guess..."

"I haven't! But I wasn't the one who APPARENTLY had a choice in deciding if ALL MAGIC, including YOU, would just CEASE TO EXIST for a couple millennia and still decided to go through with it!"

"Uh... maybe not? How do we know that this is during the plot? It would be very awkward if we go and ask for a Wax, and he's either not born, a child, in the roughs, or dead."

"Of course this is your fault! You were the one who just let magic die so we wouldn't be prepared for them now!"
