"But... maybe they got lost in the streets? Maybe we got lost?"

KePuur shakes his head as he awakens. He felt... odd. Something just didn't feel right, as if he had missed something important but couldn't remember what. He shakes his head again and the feeling went away. "Uh... coming."

For now, the street looks normal. Still, Grace is on edge as they walk. "Anywhere you want to go, Cadence?"

"Indeed. You just walk into the right alleyway and you end up in a different universe. Quite handy for escaping when you're defeated."

Daryen walks inside and gets some simple clothes, hands over the cash and mumbling a "thank you" before exiting back out, his new clothes clutched under his arm.

"An ASB is an alternate history term that handwaves something unrealistic or magic happening- and I agree."

"But... Dang, now I want to look up the definition of insight! I don't know. This seems like it needs a lot of specific things to happen to work. Anyway, this isn't important at the moment. We need clothes, remember?"
