First off not all of the unmade are sapient some of them are just forces that just do. They are not all smart and sapient like a bond smith spren would be also from this WoB we know that historically there were never more than three bondsmiths which could mean there were more than three bondsmith spren but if there were twelve bondsmith spren wouldn’t it be likely that at least once there were more than three bondsmiths. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/452/#e14535https://wob.coppermind.net/events/452/#e14535

I honestly doubt that Kaladin has a dawn shard I think it would be a bit cheap that the reason Kaladin is so powerful is because he has a dawnshard. I agree there is something special about him but I think he should have some credit for being so awesome. Also wouldn’t Kaladin know if he had a dawnshard. However it might explain why the sleepless are so interested in him and communicated with Tien.

Shallan's Horrid Soulcasting - Testament
Theoryspren replied to teknopathetic's topic in Stormlight Archive
In the book it was made clear that Formless was actually the Shallan alter just really angry and scarrerd and that Shallan had lied to herself and tried to convice herself it was another alter but it was really just her. We get this when Veil is talking to Formless after she takes over and says something like, Shallan I know it is you, you can't hide from me I am your veil. -
She has definitely made things worse by giving Taravangian the power of Odium, I am sure she thinks she did a great thing but it is terrible.
-
It’s a good idea but I always thought that Odium gave them the power that destroyed Ashyn but that Honor and Cultivation took pity on them and helped them get to Roshar. Afterword Odium influences some of the humans to start a war and convinced the singers to fight back using his powers by inviting void spren and rejecting Honor/Cultivation spren. I thought that that was the betrayal and so they decided to go bond humans. This is what I always assumed happened to cause the destruction of Ashyn, the journey to Roshar, and the start of the first desolation.
-
I could see TOdium attempting to switch Adolin or any other number of people like Rayse tried Dalinar and Kaladin but to be truthful I sincerely doubt Adolin would change. I am more likely to believe just about any other person. Which could indicate it will be him but I think he would need to lose at least two of the three characters you mentioned above for him to take that direction.

If a spren's radiant dies without breaking their oaths they do not become a deadeye they can just bond again.

Sadly he couldn’t actually slap Sadeas though I would have loved to see it happen. Do you wonder if the reason he chooses to insult everyone is because he can’t physically hurt people.

Could nightblood be made up of Raysium?
Theoryspren replied to Koloss17's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I am pretty sure Nighblood was just a steel sword that Shashara infused with Breaths.- 20 replies

RoW Rhythms vs. Mistborn Rhythms
Theoryspren replied to TheDomanreiter's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I agree if the Rhythms come from Investiture it makes since that Roshar, which has an almost endless supply of Investiture has a lot more Rhythms.- 29 replies

I have a hard time seeing anyone other than Kaladin or Dalinar reassembling Honor. Maybe after one of them reforms Honor Adolin or someone else could take up the shard.

Kaladin will take up the shard of Honor.

In WoK they never fully went into Shadesmar they only looked into it. While in the later books they are always going fully into it. -
theory How Shallan Will Get Back [Discuss]
Theoryspren replied to Child of Hodor's topic in Stormlight Archive
In the physical realm the spiritual realm connects just enough to reinfuse gems nearby the radiant that just swore the oath. In the physical realm the hole isn’t big enough to allow you to travel to another realm. But maybe in the cognitive realm it is big enough for them to slip back into the physical realm. -
theory How Shallan Will Get Back [Discuss]
Theoryspren replied to Child of Hodor's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe that Ishar has BAM. That is because of the dead eye spren who gathered outside Lasting Integrity. I think they gathered there because Ishar had BAM in the physical realm and because there is a bond between them and BAM they were drawn there. Now that Ishar is in the cognitive realm outside Lasting Integrity I believe Shallan and Adolin will learn Ishar has it and go on a daring mission to get the gem that holds BAM. I think they will then release BAM somehow and this will awaken Maya enough for her and Adolin to form a bond. He will then swear his oath and I believe this would open up a perpendicularity. In the past whenever a radiant swears an oath we now the spiritual realm temporarily connects there infusing the radiants gems well I think it also opens to the Cognitive realm so when a radiant swears an oath there it opens up one large enough for them to cross back to the physical. They will then use this temporary thing to get back where they could spanreed for a windrunner. That is my long theory on how Shallan and Adolin will get back to the physical realm I am sure it is wrong. -
I think that The Diagram will become Taravangians world-hopping organization that will do his work across the cosmere.

I believe that there will be a "war" between the Ghostbloods and Shallan as Mraize said there would be at the end of RoW. Mraize can't let word of Shallans betrayal and refusal to follow Mraize get to the rest of the Ghostbloods. That is because their whole organization is about being the hunter and catching the prey. And if the other Ghostbloods know that Mraize's underlinging is now hunting him they will begin to view him as prey. He has to be worried because if he starts looking like prey any Ghoostblood might think it time to get revenge against him for something or other. The only way Mraize can save face is by quickly killing Shallan before word gets out and then present her body to show that he quickly dealt with the betrayal to show he is strong. So he will attempt to kill her as soon as possible. So I believe that one of Shallan's first chapters back in the physical realm will be an attempted assasination of her by Mraize.

Knights Radiant, Urithiru and Succession post RoW
Theoryspren replied to HoidIsAdonalsium's topic in Stormlight Archive
While I would love Kaladin to take the place of Dalinar. I think the smartest choice would be Navani after all she is bonded to the spren of the tower itself and she is very smart. She has also been around rulers her whole life so she would probably know how to be a good one. While Kaladin can rise to be a strong leader like in the case of bridge four and inspiring the people of Urithiru. That doesn’t mean he actually has the skill to lead them. Also I don’t think they would want a mentally unstable person on the throne even if he is better after swearing the fourth oath. Not that Kaladin didn’t have the skill to lead bridge four just that he might not have the skill to lead the whole tower. Also Kaladin himself would disagree with any attempt to put him in charge. -
BIG SPOILER FOR END OF BOOK DON’T READ UNLESS YOU HAVE FINISHED We know that Nightblood seems to become intoxicated after he takes in investiture. We also know the more he investiture he takes the more intoxicated he becomes. Nightblood just killed the vessel of a shard which is undoubtedly a lot of investiture. So wouldn’t Szeth have noticed that Nightblood was so intoxicated. At first he wouldn’t expect something was wrong as Szeth thinks he just killed Taravangian but for the amount of investiture a shards vessel should have compared to that of an old man Nightblood should be incredibly intoxicated for long amount of time. So wouldn’t Szeth realize after a time that something more had happened in that room when he thought Taravangian died? What are your thoughts? Will Szeth discover the truth as he interacts with Nightblood in the next book?

First off I would like to say I hate Moash and that nothing can ever redeem him however I thoght this was just interesting. At the end Moash looses his eyesight. He goes blind. He has access to stormlight however so why doesn't he just heal it. We know that stormlight heals you to how you percieve yourself. So why does Moash think even if only subconsciously that he should be blind? Maybe just maybe somewhere in the back of his mind he does feel his pain and Odium's grip on him is not as strong as we think. So maybe he is punishing himself for killing Teft his fellow member of bridge four. Again could this indicate he is not as lost as we thought. I still hate him and don't want a redemtion arc for Moash under any circumstances. But the fact that his eyes are not being healed by stormlight shows somewhere in his twisted head he feels he deserves it. Just a thought. Still, storm Moash.

Also a Fused can't leave the Rosharan system it is tied there.

10 years later, a look at the WoK back cover blurb
Theoryspren replied to Wyndleblade's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think the most important part was those last two lines, “One of them may redeem us, And one of them will destroy us.” Notice the may redeem us in the first half but in the second half it says one of them will destroy us. If we believe that these are true predictions of what will happen. Then the second half isn’t talking about Dalinar, at least not yet because he didn’t destroy them instead he kept his pain. This means that if we believe what the sleepless said was true then one of the four character Kaladin, Szeth, Shallan, or Dalinar, will truly turn evil. With how Oathbringer ended. With Szeth joining team radiant. Shallan choosing Adolin. And Dalinar keeping his pain and denying Odium my head turns to Kaladin. Who at the end is in a slump and is constantly hurting because of failing Elohkar, and thinking everything is pointless. I am sad to conclude that Kaladin has the most pain right now and that he might be willing to give it to Odium for the promise that he would protect bridge four. -
In the prologue a bearded steward waved Navani over to discuss the arrival of important guests. In the passage Navani notes that the steward had, “too many rings on his fingers” Then later in the prologue Navani see’s someone that she thinks could have been the steward but the new man is about 20 years younger. I know this is unlikely but it makes since if that guy was a Terris Feruchemist.
