Queen started to nod, as was her instinct when listening to a story and the speaker paused. She stopped herself mid-nod, though. "Wait. You were an inter-dimensional treasure hunter?" -
"No. We've been a little bit too busy being the Fellowship for that."

Queen forced back a grin to give a frown of mock disapproval. "This doesn't sound like something that'll lead to a rant..." The grin seeped through as she continued, "but maybe creating the start of a mishmash of loosely related entities had something to do with it. I mean, if you hadn't done that, I probably wouldn't have met you."

"Then...uh...talk away and hope it leads to ranting?"

She did so. "Rant away."

Queen looked around, acknowledging that there was forest everywhere, so it probably didn't matter which way they headed. She led the way into a random section of trees.

"Nothing. What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Queen walked out of the tent.

Queen laughed at the thought that Fadran expected her to do something after he stood up but before he left the tent. What was she supposed to do?

"Noted. And yes, we can."

"Hm...run around barefoot in the cold?"

"Try screaming. That always works for me."

"But you don't know what?"

Queen looked befuddled. "O...kay..."

"Technically, they aren't my companions." Millie explained calmly, dodging the blade. "I just came because I was ordered to help them out. I've never exchanged a single word with them before today." Once she finished the explanation, she walked off of the boat, making herself incorporeal as she did so, floating in the opposite direction.

"Well, I didn't do any of that, but...yeah, that stuff can definitely be caused by a misunderstanding. You were shooting at them, after all, then kept attacking and provoking them."

"You said you wanted to call the others in for a meeting? I think that'd be a good idea."

Millie approached the group, wary of the violent mood surrounding them. She pressed her hand against the solid air around Lloyd's head, then hesitated. "Why don't we have a nice, civil chat to try to resolve this? We can discuss why each of you attacked the other as well as what you each want in order for there to be a peaceful departure between us! Doesn't that sound pleasant?" She smiled, then realized that no one here knew who she was or which side she was on. "I'm Millie Gording. I was sent to protect these guys," she pointed a thumb towards Lloyd, "but I'm starting to think this whole conflict was a big understanding." She looked at Thorn, then said, "After all, you guys don't seem like terrible people, and I know these guys aren't either. So, whaddaya guys say to my genius discussion idea?"

Millie made her way back to the closet where she had left the unconscious sailor. She returned the jacket and hat to the woman, letting her own long blond braid flow down her back. Then, she went straight to where everything was happening. She always had a way of knowing where that was.
