Just giving a while of warning, I'll be gone Thursday, Friday, and at least most of Saturday.

the fellowship of the thing The Mishmash Inn (Retired)
DramaQueen replied to Channelknight Fadran's topic in Roleplaying
Ella nodded, looking around to see if anyone needed her help. When she could see no one immediately looking for help, she went to a desk that appeared to be for her, then took a seat, pulling a book from a nearby shelf. This is living the dream. She thought, sighing as she relaxed, letting herself into another world. -
Queen sat in silence for a moment, realizing what must have happened. She took a deep breath before attempting to answer Fadran's question. "Like...a piece of me had died. He had been by my side for years, and this might sound cheesy and generic, but it's true. He was my better half, my second part, my partner in crime. When I fell in love with him, we fell into each other, becoming one. To have him cut out of my life...it felt the same as I would assume having my heart cut in half would feel. Heartbreak is a term you hear often, usually referring to a breakup. For me, it really did feel like my heart had shattered, and no matter how hard I tried, there would always be so many pieces missing. I think...grief is different for everyone, though. Descriptions might sound the same, but what it truly feels like is unique to you." Queen looked Fadran in the eyes. "I'm sorry for forcing you to let that happen. A part of me wishes I weren't here, then you'd still have Icona. But...I'm guessing it was his decision. For whatever reason, he chose to let me live in his place. I won't let his death be in vain." She stood, then joined the rest of the group, pondering what she had said. Tchanta hesitantly spoke in her mind. That's a pretty big commitment. A god died to save you, and you think you'll be able to make his death worth it? Maybe not. Queen admitted. But I can try.

Ella got Mr. Sia's attention again. "Is there anything else I need to know before I start working, or is that it?" -
Hegemony Endorsements
DramaQueen replied to The Forgetful Archivist's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
First of all, I already used that in one of my promo posters. Second of all, here are all of my promo posters! Third of all: I, DramaQueen will do all I can to eliminate negative drama. This voting is causing some of that negative drama, so I am aiming to have a peaceful win. If someone else becomes the leader, I will accept them without complaint, yet I believe that I would be the best option. I suppose my situation might be similar to Elend's in Well of Ascension, You all expect to be led forcefully, and you think you want a leader who will take charge. I want to hear from my people, and I want them to have a say in what happens. I will also fight for equal rights for every species and being, as well as fight for the elimination of tragic events. I want my people to be happy, laughing, and joyful, not confused and stressed. I will try to unite my people, creating a wonderful team, or cast, for the play that is our lives. The whole world is a stage, and I want to grant everyone some time in the spotlight. If you want to be united and happy, vote for DramaQueen! Human, fish, reptile, and bean, will all be equal; vote DramaQueen! -

Fadran, be a nice human, please. You aren't Frustration or his champion () so it isn't your place to frustrate Ene.

You never told me what fish I'd be. -
Yay! Book is hard, ummm we'll go with Elantris for now, though. Favorite tree: Weeping willow. They get branches everywhere and have very invasive root systems, but they're SO PRETTY and look like the perfect place to read, underneath a curtain of green. Favorite flower? I really like exotic fancy ones, the calla lily is one of my favorites for sure. My favorite movie... I don't know if I really have one, but I really like the Emperor's New Groove and Onward. I really like the word discombobulated. Or plethora. Probably mushy. Myrmecophilous-fond of, benefiting from, or associated with ants.

Selecting the Leader of the Hegemony of the World

Ok, WHY is Kindness not nominated? I'm fixing this right now, it literally is in her name that she's super kind, and I think she'd make a great leader. @Spren of Kindness -

Although I appreciate the gesture, perhaps causing frustration is not the best way to gain me votes. I only frustrate those who deserve it, and my friends only deserve it sometimes. Now is not one of those times. I will still be your champion, but I will mainly just cause frustration on The Game And Its Losers. -

"Yes. I'm-I get to be a librarian, I think. I hope. It's beautiful in here." Queen shoved her heavy bag into Tira's arms. "I don't know how long I'll stay, probably just until I'm not so grumpy and tired." She grumbled, then shot a forced smile at Tira. "Sorry if I'm being a bit rude, there's been a lot on my plate lately." -

Queen walks into the inn, exhausted. "I'll take a room." She says, trudging up the stairs. Ella sighed, finally reaching the library. She looked up. And up. And up. Books climbed the walls, reaching higher than anything that had an end. She got to work here? It was a dream come true. -
Ah, I understand now. Hoc Erat Odiosis.

I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure I thought you were really cool, otherwise we wouldn't be friends. Hm, speaking of friends...Do you wanna be Shardbuddies?

When no one responded to DQ's question 2 pages ago, she shrugged, teleporting to a place she felt good about. Some sort of compound, perhaps?
