your vote for steel was nothing- it was an rng vote that didn't mean much and when you revisited it you didn't try and prompt anything from it, going "going back to my rng vote because people talked about him" or something My vote was not an RNG vote and based on things TUN had done and went against my previous village read of him in thread.

If the last time i played with Alv was the game with Connie, Quinn, and Fura then yeah I should think i sound a lot different there. Archer's vote on Alv is purely retaliatory, with so little time left in the cycle you'd think there'd be a better target?

I don't feel very pushed to discussion from that vote, Mat. What I do feel is that TUN's last post feels like TMI in a way. He is way too self-aware about how mat might percieve him in a way that feels completely unnatural. Mat, Stick, Striker, Araris, Steel all V. Of everyone so far I am most comfortable voting Xino still, I think. My village reads on Stick and Steel are probably not the weakest of the lot, but the ones i would most likely vote on if for some reason all my village reads were the only viable candidates. Archer, Elan, and Alv are all on my radar right now, as is JNV, but of those three? JNV is the only person I would vote on today. I'd probably stick Elan in a temporary category of village, lower down. There is definitely bias in me of wanting to suspect people who are using quotes more than I should, which is basically where most of my suspicion on Elandera comes in-though why I don't apply that to stick right now is beyond me. EDIT: Now Mat, A JNV vote I can kind of get behind.

What Striker I for some reason thought everyone was voting on striker here, yeah no. Emu prob town then v town if striker is an Elim -
Man, I was about to join that Stick vote. not sure what to do now. TUN is only a suspicion for me because of the striker vote- people who vote striker on D1s are usually either new to him or an Elim- he phrases things in ways that makes him sound suspicious 9/10 village games. People looking at specific striker theories or whatnot to use that as base to push him always ping me a little. Striker isn't very good with TMI in my opinion, and that's the easiest way to find him usually. If Striker is actually an Elim here then ignore everything I'm saying and rip my striker read accuracy but I'll hold it for now

emu the train on striker is too big and like, everyone for me to feel comfortable, but i do think striker has to die at this point -
I've been playing more often offsite than on, so I can't really weigh in on current meta besides saying that personally I do both intentionally try and derpclear myself (as both alignments) and when i am Elim fight hard to not fall into the pattern of "This is what i would do as a villager" A little side comment That said I do think that Elims are more self couscous/ self aware of being asked about fishing and might not intentionally lie or whatever mat said, but at the same time there are a lot of people who would do it as either alignment

General game comment, Striker v, Araris v, TUN v. (EDIT: Mat v, Steel v.) Strange that my views are so directly opposing Alvron's

General meta comment, roleless people claiming is just as bad as people who have roles in situations where the roled people want to stay anonymous, as it basically just narrows down to the elims. That's like people going "yeah, synod don't claim, but if you're not in the synod you should claim that btw."

Mid-Range Game 58 - To Kill a Skyeel
Illwei replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm gonna by saying that this is not only flawed logic, but especially with powers like vote manip it's almost dangerous to think like this Just because you have a power doesn't mean you should always use it, and sometimes using it can be worse. -

So TL;DR, Archer - Activity in thread and PMs: look for people at night who are active in thread but much less active in PMs. - Openness with reads: look for people who aren't open and consistent (to a degree, completely 180ing on reads can be towny in the right context) with their progressions/reads. I disagree with stick that they won't make risky moves, I think that if you look through old Elim docs (recent games) you're not going to find a whole lot of planning during the day anyways. I do think there will be little to no bussing in this game, because without the doc to communicate about that I assume people will generally stay away. -

Lack of Elim communication isn't really exploitable imo, but imo it does mean that the more active we all are and decisive, the harder it will be for them to manipulate thread how they want it, because they can't really coordinate anything during the day. Us also being able to have PMs open at night is another buff to village because where most times night would be time for us to reflect on our own and their time to talk, it means that not only will we still be able to talk to eachother at night, but as long as everyone stays active in PMs as well, they will have to keep up with both PMing the majority of players and trying to use that time to scheme in the doc.
