Okay, I'm proposing this now because why not: This kind of goes outside of actually proposing a law, but, uh, why not. 7 - The Black Market Establishing the Black Market: The black market is a shop where houses can buy things that would normally be "Against the Rules." With each purchase at the black market, people are taking a Risk. all RNG is done by TLR. Mistborn for Hire: A mysterious Mistborn claims that they can help you, for a low price. no strings attached. A house can pay 32 Atium to hire an Extra Mistborn. This mistborn does not abide by the rules of House Mistborns, so It can be hired whenever. There is only one of them, so they can only be hired by one person at a time. Unfortunately, this mistborn isn't a completely Trustworthy individual. With each time you hire him, there comes a 15% chance that he will betray you, and just run off with your money. Seer Spike: There is a man who tells you that for the low low one time payment of 32 Atium, he can make you a Seer. A house can pay 32 Atium to be spiked, allowing them to, in the future, use abilities by burning some of their Atium. Seer Abilities: Abilities may only be used once per instance. (ie. Per vote in the Senate, Per Mistborn attack) - Burn 1 Atium and be able to add an extra vote to yours in the Senate. Unfortunately, this is frowned upon in the Senate, so every time there is a Senate vote, you have a 15% chance of losing your seat. - Burn 1 Atium and be able Counter a Mistborn trying to attack you or stop your proposal Unfortunately, the other Mistborn might also have Atium on them. There is a 50% chance of your counter not going through. -
I- Uh, oaky...

I- Okay so I was thinking of signing up, but I'm pretty sure I never did. :P.

Nah, nah. Atium sees the future, so...ASHdsfjdkl I have so many Ideas I can't flesh them all out as much as I like... I'm changing The Atium rules to be part of the black Market and I'm changing the black market entirely asjdfklsfhdkjl post coming soon No Null was. no one else has been appointed. personally I think I've made some pretty good proposals.... Er, @Experience onion? UNDER WORK: not a proposal yet 7 - The Black Market Establishing the Black Market: The black market is a shop where houses can buy things that would normally be "Against the Rules." Hmm actually Tasty Tasty Atium: A house may choose to consume 32 of their Atium in exchange for being able to counter the attack of 1 (1) Mistborn. this can only be done twice in the Houses's entire life. You must state in thread that you are doing this. -

@ElectrumSavant You missed it with me yesterday as well, but mist of house wafre is an obligator. Shouldnt that mean that Doomstick is fined 16 Atium? EDIT 1: I'll rewrite for come clarification: A house may choose to consume 32 of your atium. in exchange for a one (1) time use of an extra vote in the senate, which cannot be blocked, to use on someone else's proposal. (not able for use on your own house's proposal). You may consume Atium at most one (1) time on each separate page. You must state in Thread that you are doing this. -

Hm...Don't see the problem. I edited a post, I included a reason. was the reason not good enough for you? :P. Proposal: The Rule of Understanding: All Call for Judgements must also quote the rule in question Tsk Tsk. for someone who claims to want me in their House, you're awfully aqqressive towards me :P. -

Proposal: Yummy Yummy Atium: If you choose to consume 32 of your atium, you will then gain a one time use of an extra vote in the senate (er, seeing the future? idea?) to use on someone else's proposal. (not able for use on your own proposal) -

@Experience Though, do you really want to Join another House? You may come join mine, though winning because of an Alliance just isn't as satisfying. Anyways: Ideas of a proposal involving my black market Idea: Bets can lower your Status depending on factors involving the obligators and inquisitors. Any Ideas guys? I also Call for Judgement on Doomstick for abusing the Senate PM :P. -

that seems complicated. I mean, only because of how I'm thinking about it probably. but yeah. because technically Harmony doesn't get involved... Technically yeah. I really see you out here trying to get me to forfeit the game and be elected the new LR if your first one gets passed *squinty eyes glare thing*... *narrows eyes suspiciously* funny how you think the only way to beat me is to get me to TLR :smirk: -

Yeah. I know that there's a democratic style of nomic. Lord ruler makes more sense for this specific one, but. I- Idk. I keep having ideas that are too structured to be Nomic but too...not Mafia to be a SE game... I mean, we have progressed to a...er...sort of Senate. Like they did. Except more elitist...thanks to me :P. now we just need to...go to Era 2... :P. -

;-; Well. Uh. Anyways. Coolio. On the subject of Era 2 which I brought up myself I think progressing into Era 2 with a mayor would be rlly cool. I think Democratic would...I guess make more sense? but I have a ton of ideas and skjdfhasjdfsafhjk I can't control it but I wasnt to be a LR over an Era 2 so i can control it but anyways adsjfldhsfjlkdgsdfj yeah anyways.... -

Something I think could get expanded Upon: I Propose: The Status Act: As there are two classes, there are two Statuses as Nobles. High Status and Lowly. Lowly Nobles are Fined at a 1.25 rate for fines and are rewarded only .75 of the full Atium awards for Things such as Proposals. All costs of things such as Mistborn are at 1.25 price as well. One can move up from being a Lowly Noble to a High Status Noble by remaining infraction free (no fines) for one page. they must have at least 5 posts on said page, and have taken at least 2 relevant game actions in said posts. The Black Market: The black market is a shop that High Status Nobles (All current Nobles, no) can use to purchase up to one (1) Extra Mistborn. This Mistborn will be at double the normal price. there are no Limits to how many times a House can purchase an Extra Mistborn, but with each purchase comes 20%, stackable chance of you getting caught. being caught results in you being reduced to a Lowly Noble and loss of 25% of your Atium @Experience @Experience @Experience!!! What if instead of being TLR they're the Mayor and like we progress into Era 2!!! ...or...Era 1.5.... ... !!!! Wow okay this took me 20 minutes to write out and it's still not great.
