  1. Need to remember one thing. This time is different. We have Hoid snooping, hoppers interfering, heralds dying for reals, and Cultivation giving out therapy. Further more, I am pretty sure the fused eventually devolve into whatever holds the thunderclasts together, and from there can be killed for reals. The heralds are also broken beyond helping, Odium is also seeming to lose the support of some of the non-fused parshmen. Even to the point of two becoming bonded to radiant spren. This is the endgame. I see a big investment in this one from Odium. It is not a normal desolation.
  2. the bridge, of course, has a spren. This spren has been strengthened by the association with the group now called bridge four. Through this, it has changed to more embody the spirit of the group. This has gone so far as to make it similar to a mini shard in the concept of bridge. as it bridged between wildly different people(and a singer), it shall next form a bridge to Braize for a magnificent assault on the place to free the heralds and end Odium. EDIT: next theory, Chouta and Ruin
  3. It was said that lift asked to stay the same, or remain unchanged while things around her changed, or some variation of that theme. In the released draft chapter, she is growing and complains about not getting what she wanted. I think that cultivation would never grant someone to never change, as she is a shard of growth, and the story overall would not stand for a static character. Furthermore, the saying of the oaths requires some form of growth as a person. To get around this, Cultivation might have stopped her changing physically. This could explain the conversion of food, so she can stay the same size and weight. (of course, for that, her weight at the time of asking must have been indicative of some form of malnutrition.). This i think would be the boon, or boon in addition to curse.
  4. I see what taravangian did as similar to taking a large amount of data and drawing conclusions from it. He extrapolates the likely events from the information he had. This explains why some things change. Despite his massive intellect, there are factors that act chaotically, like lift. He might not have known of her wish, to stay the same. If he did not know this, she would act against his predictions. ( side note: i believe what tara is doing is like using a large series of equations to get an answer, while fortunes lets you see just the answer, but in seeing the answer, it changes slightly.) So he cannot account exactly for everything, he can get general ideas. His plans also seem vague enough.
  5. I was randomly going through the wiki and found that Madam Penfor's page has a link to the wrong Allrianne. I have no clue what too do if i spot something like this. Help?
  6. Sanderson was inspired by several different authors. If you read through some of R.A. Salvatore, you find a special flute (and many talking/special weapons). This flute is given to Artemis, a near emotionless assassin, by Jaraxle, a drow mercenary and trickster similar in attitude to Hoid. The flute was made by an ancient monk and it has the ability to calm and....alter? re-arrange? do something to the mind. If this was the inspiration of Hoid's flute, this may have been an attempt on Hoid's part to influence or cure Kaladin's extreme depressive episodes.
