I thought soulcasting aluminum was difficult, but i might be wrong. Also, aluminum is pretty weak, so a sheet of it does very little against the non-magical part of being hit by a huge sword by someone with super-strength. Also: soulcast thermite, add spark, melt enemy.

Similar thought: Did cultivation connect her personal growth with her physical growth? She would stay the same as much as she stays the same mentally. Would explain why she started growing up after a few ideals.
-
Divide atoms. Sanderson said he had some system of power like that, so i want spren powered nukes. Division at its finest.
-
True for #2. I was thinking of medieval europe standards, so i forgot the difference of cultures. But #1 is more accurate than you would think. I take her knowledge and way of dealing with the situation to show that she has set out to stop these murders, as she has all pertinent information. She knows where and who they have been robbing. killing, and lures them out.

I always have many points of view at once. 1. Removed threat with relativity little pain to them 2. If forced through justice system, they would most likely have been tortured 3. She is batman 4. I find it unlikely any of them had very close family, let alone kids. 5. She had semi planned the encounter. 6. She could have done countless non-lethal things to end it. 7. Roshar needs some form of public works program. 8. social reforms similar to the new deal? wars make jobs.

Perhaps some of the shin? they farm and mostly use soulcasters for stone.
-
Now we just need a suitably evil scientist and maybe some kind of demonic cult.

fabrials can have different effects. We can see investiture happens in the soul. Attach person to energy type gun. Shoot using their soul. Laugh evilly.
-
Remember, investiture works by filling in your soul with power. The more broken a soul, the more power. Unmade applying to this? maybe. I think that it is mostly their spirit webs that got put in the proverbial wringer, not yet enough to make their souls broken enough to affect their power at a large degree. Unless this would be a big reveal. Sidenote: more invested people in bad living/ high crime situations?
-
I hope we see some kind of fabrial that affects something other than the physical realm. I want soul-cannons, dang-it!

More thoughts: Odium could be influencing other shards. Pushing them to extremes in terms of their....domain? Survival becomes paranoia, devotion becomes zealotry, cultivation becomes tyranny. Probably not what's happening, but a good thought exercise.
-
Brandon has said that a shard can be interpreted different ways. Harmony could have been Renewal, or Rebirth. Or the embodiment of feruchemy, Equivalency.
-
Brandon has also said that it would be hard to separate the two shards from each other. This tells us that the shards can combine and give birth to new metals, powers, and....shard themes?

When humanity arrived, the cultural lines weren't so clear. The assigning of jobs by Heralds came in sometime later. I think that the cultural identities were more influenced by the jobs assigned. This would explain the layout of the countries and the cultural attitudes of each group.
-
Every country on Roshar had jobs given by the Heralds. As such, they are all placed in places convenient for their purpose. The Atheli were the warriors and guardians. They are east because that,s where the fighting was. The Shin were the breadbasket, so keep far from the fights. (Side note: humans arrived in the west of the continent first, which is why their is some non-rosharian creatures and plants. This means the human invasion would go west to east, so it makes sense the Atheli ended up east.)

I mean for her to stay the same appearance as when she wished. I figure the magic does have the ability to mess with age, but food consumed still goes somewhere. turning it into energy/investiture seems like a good solution.
-
So she could just be growing in the way cultivation wants. Secondly, I am still not sure the food thing is a curse. I figure it could be cultivation's way of having her stunt her own growth or something.
-
I mean her ability of regrowth. This ability ( as well as the baseline radiant healing) would encourage her to grow. The old magic would be trying to keep her from growing. I figure that the radiant ability would be able to make headway. So she might start growing as she develops as a radiant. On the other hand, the old magic might just have some effect im not accounting for.

i see Odium as symbolizing the extremes of emotion. We got that cult scene where Hoid talks about excess, and wherever he goes people go to extreme emotions or stances. Seems to match with him wanting to be passion, which would make him more of peoples dedication to something. He wants to be that but everyone else agrees that he is too extreme and dubbed him Odium. Plus he was originally a human god, which fits well, and he has the Thrill as an underling.

Have a half eaten chouta. I have Sanderson's Language Arts report card.

Picture this, The raving mad-man who claims to hear god accuses the king best known for helping the wounded, as well as the only one who seems to care about his subjects, of having several other kings killed. Furthermore, the same assassin almost killed him as well. Tara is also thought to be very stupid, and Dalinar is saying he is actually a genius mastermind who planned all this from the start. Tara has the best P.R. in the entirety of Roshar. This is his defense. He built such a reputation to make himself untouchable.
-
This still sounds like a recent development for her, and to get wyndle she would have had to say the first oath. This implies some form of personal development. This might have messed with the old magic.
-
She is implied to be having her period in the released Rhythm of War interlude (https://wob.coppermind.net/events/412-ltue-2020/#e13628), so i thought that this was a more recent development. When was you quote said?
-
Where does it say that?
