Dr. Gears turned to Aln. "If this is a living human, perhaps the statue form is a stasis state or a defense mechanism. Perhaps giving it Stormlight will revert it out of the statue form." He thought about taking a sphere, but decided against it. Aln didn't want to waste questions. @Rushu42

We wouldn't still be talking about this if @Illwei would just tell us whether or not they used vote manip abilities. They're online, so they have no excuse for ignoring our cries. Also, @TJ Shade, I know you're offline right now, but you have vote manipulation powers? [In your post concerning vote manipulation, you spoke as if you knew the penalty for vote manipulation as well.] Also, @Matrim's Dice, you have the same disease penalty as TJ, so do you have vote manipulation powers? None of you have responded to me. Also, @StrikerEZ, why do you suspect me? Talk to me, people. Speak of things with substance and not barebones cloth.

Reasoning on your suspicion of me? [Though I have been substantially less active, I claim that is because everyone is talking but not saying much so there's nothing for me to say.]

He has tried so many times, but each attempt ends in failure

I was making a post-by-post analysis of D1 when I lost the post. I feel too demoralised to recreate it in its glorious entirety, so you get the highlights. [Note: I found very few posts "important", so you may wish to reread D1 yourself.] 3 Silber: The alignment scanner plan. This makes me suspect that Silber has an alignment scanner or knows that someone does [though considering that this was their first post of the game, I find the second option unlikely.] 8 Illwei: The edit section proclaims that Illwei is a research intern. This may be an alignment, this may be a role. 28 Illwei: Doesn't want to give TJ the village faction name because it will "incriminate me as an elim if I'm an elim" or give elims village faction name. Providing the first option seems odd, since if Illwei is a villager, they probably wouldn't be mentioning elim possibilities. Also, why is giving the elims the village faction name bad? 40 TJ: Illwei should know name of village if village [though that route was banned]. I mildly agree with this, but as this route has been expressly forbidden, it remains a mere suspicion. The only people I found worthy of note D1 are Silber [for the plan], TJ [for aggression and mislynch potential with their playstyle, not mentioned here see D1], and Illwei [for "research intern"]. And now for N1 thus far. [Stop ninja'ing me when I'm making a compendium post!] 1 Gears: Vote manipulation exists 2 TGK: Write-ups = flavour 3 Pyro: Backgrounds might be only village thing [unfounded, could be a way of trying to seem village by having a background] 4 Ash: Vote manip exists. Self-vote = change vote in PMs but not Kas. [unfounded] 5 Lotus: Not sick. 6 TJ: Not Riot type on Mist, Soothe or vote cancel on Kas 7 Lotus: Asks if count accurate 8 TGK: Yes accurate 9 Lotus: Maybe add vote ability? 10 Illwei: Doesn't know why someone would remove a vote from Kas. Possible disease where vote doesn't count? Apologises for Mist. [@Illwei, did you vote manip?]. Pyro's chaos = sus. 11 Devo: Silber might get NKd for implying scanner. Asks about Kas PM vote removal. 12 Ash: Doesn't know train of thought [Have you tried the bus?]. Kas votes self without prompting so ability less likely. 13 Kas: Change vote in PM? Was soll das heißen? 14 TJ: Thinks vote manip must be from elims since village would know penalty. [@TJ Shade, you have a vote manipulation ability? How else would you know the penalty for vote manipulation? Since @Matrim's Dice has the same disease [or at least penalty from the disease], do they also have this ability?] 15 Gears: Illwei vote manip could be caused by Illwei 16 Kas: RP 17 Mint: Power outage 18 Matrim: LG66 ++. Open mind 19 TJ: Thought Illwei was apologising for voting Mist, not using vote manip. 20 Araris: Ash didn't make accusations 21 Kas: Agrees with TJ 22 TJ: Meant "2 hours", doesn't understand Kas's Dark quotes. 23 Kas: Meant Illwei 24 Matrim: Reasons for voting Mist, reads Illwei slightly village [however they did state that they would change their vote back if no one voted] 25 Araris: Voted Mist because only way to save Illwei. Gut reads D1 as justification are fine. 26 Kas: Mind games. 27 Mint: Disagrees with TJ about vote manip must be elim. Acknowledges that it's certainly possible. 28 Lotus: Asks whether Soulcasting = illness. Backgrounds != power, background in History but no Soulcasting. 29 Pyro: Yes disease. 30 Ash: RP Conclusion: Illwei remains my top suspicion, though the reasoning is so weak that I feel like it might be more of a gut read than anything. Pyro is also a suspect, though this one requires even more leaps of logic than Illwei. How is everyone saying so much and so little at once? I am a boring pleb who lacks both member title and signature, but my profile picture was chosen from pictures of gears on the internet, and my username was chosen because I was thinking of knitting needles.

In the tower, there beats a heart torn asunder.

There is of course the option that Illwei has vote manipulation and tried to save themself. See quote below.
-
There are 2 possible vote manipulations. A vote is missing from Kas and a vote has been added to Mist. This could be a single vote redirect or 2 separate vote manips [one added and one retracted]. This of course puts suspicion on Illwei. @Illwei, did you engage in vote manipulation to save yourself? Also, Mist's corpse was Ashyn, yet her alignment was Loyal. @The_God_King, are the write-ups true to the game? Diseases: It seems that diseases don't always come with constant penalties. This one had a penalty caused by enacting the action. Perhaps the diseases with constant penalties have constant effects. Backgrounds: Exist and are relevant enough to put in the write-up. I am going to sleep now. Good night, for parting is such sweet sorrow. [I know that's a misquote, be silent.]

I'm splitting it into 3 outcomes based on who would get lynched. Scenario 1: Pyro is lynched, Mist is elim killed, Korathi-Cultist win. Scenario 2: Mist is lynched, Mist is elim killed, Korathi win. Scenario 3: Illwei is lynched, Mist is elim killed, Korathi-JP win. Now 3 more outcomes if Illwei had managed to submit the kill switch in time. Scenario 1a: Pyro is lynched, Pyro is elim killed, game continues for another cycle, Korathi lose. Lynch is tied 1-1, Cultist kill on Mist. 50% JP and Cultist win, 50% just Cultist win. Scenario 2a: Mist is lynched, Pyro is elim killed, Korathi-Cultist win. Scenario 3a: Illwei is lynched, Pyro is elim killed, JP win. There are six possible worlds. In 4 of the possible worlds, the Korathi win. In 3 of the possible worlds, the Cultists win. In 2.5 of the possible worlds, the JP wins. In 3.5 of the possible worlds, there is a group win. Excluding the Illwei switch scenarios, there are 3 possible worlds. In 3 possible worlds, the Korathi win. In one possible world, the Cultists win. In 1 possible world, the JP win. In 2 possible worlds, there is a group win.

I wrote a write-up in the dead doc. Here it is. Mancia, Tamai, and Avanae stood facing each other. They all knew what they were. Mancia, the true Korathi. Tamai, the Jeskeri Practitioner [though she did not condone human sacrifice]. Avanae, the Korathi turned Cultist and the killer. “We can all get what we want,” Tamai said placatingly. “Avanae can kill Mancia, we can kill Avanae together, and I’ll kill myself. I promise.” The other two seemed sceptical. “Mancia and I can get what we want without having to trust that someone will off themself,” Avanae said. “We kill you together, and I kill Mancia. No trust required.” They stood there in silence for a long moment before Avanae shook her head. “You know what? I change my mind. Let’s kill Mancia together.” “Sure!” Mancia said exuberantly. “I’ve always wanted to achieve my goals by dying!” Tamai seemed hesitant but gave approval. She wasn’t going to successfully kill Avanae anyways, might as well give the kid what she wanted before she died. As they rejoiced in the unanimity of the decision, Tamai frowned. “No. I refuse. I shall not go gentle into that good night. If I must die, then I shall die knowing that I did my best to achieve victory. Avanae, I choose you to die.” For a while, it seemed that was that. Mancia would be brought down by Avanae and herself, and Tamai would be killed by Avanae. The Korathi and the Cultists would achieve victory. But then Mancia bit her lip and said, “So… I’m at a crossroads here. On one hand, I don’t like betrayal. Avanae and me have been working together, and I don’t want to betray her. On the other hand, Tamai and the rest of the Practitioners have been doing so well! And I kind of want to win by myself… So I’ll kill Avanae!” As Mancia and Tamai leapt at Avanae, she tried to change her target in an attempt to ruin Mancia’s victory, but she acted moments too late. They brought her down, and her blade struck true in Tamai’s heart. Mancia cheered and Tamai smiled as the light faded from her eyes. This game was amazing. I wish I had survived longer, but this was amazing and wonderfully balanced. I want someone to run another game with this village half-village elim mechanic since I was just plebian Korathi and so didn't get to interact with the minigame.

Oh. Then I have no idea why Pyro isn't PMing people. That is very strange. Other notes: I asked about conversion and got a PAFO. This could mean anything, but I hope it means a no. Otherwise, I don't know why Matrim and TJ are claiming.

Yes [and no because I was thinking of making a dictatorship with anarchy but I don't know how that would work]. Are you in?
-
Uh... Would you like to conquer the world, abolish gender roles, metricise the US, and engage in many other reforms that I have thought of?
-
Oi! I posted some theories concerning disease, thank you very much. Which one of my theories do you think is true? If disease=death, you will die, so maybe you don't believe that one, but do you think this is a conversion game or standard game, and if it's standard, do you think diseases will function similarly to squiring in LG67 [I understand that you are at the beach right now, but respond when you can]. I believe @The Young Pyromancer must have a disease that prevents them from PMing, lost a bet to someone, or is extremely busy since I have not received a PM from them either.

Man is a strange creature. All his actions are motivated by desire, his character forged by pain. As much as he may try to suppress that pain, to repress the desire, he cannot free himself from the eternal servitude to his feelings. For as long as the storm rages within him, he cannot find peace. Not in life, not in death. And so he will do what he must, day in, day out. The pain is his vessel, desire his compass. It is all that man is capable of.

Rathi ran into the middle of whatever was going on and said, "'Ello there! I'm a reporter for the Alleyverse Post, would anyone like to be interviewed? A quick summary of events would also help. I'm writing an article on events, but I can't really write about something I wasn't here for." He made a tattoo on his right arm in preparation. Festival:

"Me!" Rathi said, raising a golden hand. "See you when I have a story!" He ran out of the Alleyverse Post before ducking back in. "Um... Where is this festival?"
