  1. In an effort to gain information, I am going to ask some questions. @TJ Shade, you said you were cured of your disease, but did you use your power before that? If so, who did you target? What is your ability? @Matrim's Dice, have you acted? If so, who did you target? What is your ability? @Illwei, you used your vote manipulation to save yourself, but is that a "double anyone's vote" ability or just double your own vote? @Sart, how did you know you were roleblocked? Does this mean you used an action that you knew was roleblocked because it affected something publicly known or gave you information? @The Young Pyromancer, have you had the chance to use your action? If so, who did you target? What is your ability? Answering these questions is optional, but I would appreciate the information. Also, if anyone who is not mentioned above has an ability that they would like to share, feel free. The more information, the better.
  2. *scoffs in mildly offended* *laughs in wonderful character with no flaws*
  3. Does this mean that you have an action as you are capable of minimising that vector of transmission?
  4. The problem is that we don't know exactly where in the timeline First Dreams is. I recall reading somewhere [I have no idea where] that interludes don't always match the chronology of the point in the book they're at. Since First Dreams is not a fixed point, a point in time happening a set time from First Dreams is also not a fixed point. Timeline remains unconfirmed, though your ship speeds seem right.
  5. Option 1: He didn't know the identity of the person on the ship [thought she was a mid-ranked lighteyes or something like that]. Option 2: He doesn't know the identity of the queen [or associate the queen with the passenger. Jasnah could be a common name. Or he just rejects the possibility that he had the queen on his ship because it's so ludicrous. Option 3: He's still in shock about the events and hasn't thought about it logically.
  6. [These are not the elims you're looking for...] It was something that was relevant [at the time], interesting [to me at least], and potentially useful in the future. Also, see "foot-in-the-door" technique, people are more likely to accept an idea when you introduce it gradually. If I just bring the elim idea up out of nowhere and claim elim off the bat, people might lynch me, and that wouldn't be fun. If I had brought it up before, people can realise that it is the gambit I mentioned before.
  7. Given that my best suspicion is a typically chaotic player who is confused, I don't think I'm in the best position to judge your suspicions. Still, that dismissive vibe is because it will be useful in the future, not now, and it is completely unrelated to the game as I haven't claimed elim. Why wouldn't I be dismissive of it when it serves no purpose at the moment?
  8. Apathy. It doesn't matter. The passage of time, the irreversibility of time, the ticking of the clock, the fact that we're constantly falling towards the sun but keep missing it. Sure, time will never rewind, sure, nothing will ever change, but who cares. Nothing matters. The universe doesn't care about you.
  9. Yes, and also no one is talking [Well, they are, but I can't really get reads on what they're saying because they have little to no reasoning.] so I can't analyse the people either.
  10. Hello. What's being part of a system like? I like cats as well, but my dad's allergic. Anarchy functions best when everyone is perfectly logical. However, as humanity is not perfectly logical, it would probably result in a "tit-for-tat" system [like in reiterated prisoner's dilemma].
  11. "I'm so sorry I forgot about you Yalb I should have come back for you." "The world went to crem, it's completely understandable." "That's still no excuse!" "I'm forgiving you, Brightness, just accept it."
  12. Oh right! [I had completely forgotten about that, despite her being a character I was fond of.] That makes a lot more sense.
  13. Poor Yalb. He must have thought he'd gone mad. Then the world went mad as well. [If I was him, I would never be able to get rid of the thought that this world was a hallucination.] Is that ship Rysn's? What happened? No flag though, so maybe it's not Rysn's ship. But if so, whose ship would it be? It's probably Rysn's ship, isn't it. [I'm a pleb that can't remember what things say, and also forgot to edit this for a while. It's First Dreams]
  14. And the rebel said to the noble, "Would you rather elope to Barovia or Silverlight?"
  15. When you ask a miscellaneous stranger on the internet if they are Hoid in disguise because they're just that cool.
  16. I did say that the elim thing was a fun diversion that was completely unrelated. Also, since I didn't claim elim, it is irrelevant. He's saying that Pyro has information that the rest of us lack. Elims are more likely to have access to such information, so Pyro might be an elim. Pyro might be my strongest suspicion right now, so unless a better target presents itself before the end of the cycle, I'm voting for him.
  17. "Thank you," the Anarchist said, taking the paper and reading it. The Anarchist grinned at the message and set it aside. Fascinating. An ally/enemy to contend with. Unexpected, but competition makes every challenge more exciting.
  18. The Anarchist's eyes gleamed in what could be madness and what could be a strange twisted glee as laughter filled the air. "Why else? The fun." There was no point in bringing everything down if nothing would stand in your way. That would be as boring as not doing it in the first place. You only truly live when you stare into the abyss.
  19. Interesting. This ability appears to have no negative side effects. @The_God_King, was Silber's ability single-use or continuous [id est, every cycle/turn]? Yet again a historian dead. If I was an elim, I would have chosen a person who has claimed a disease, such as TJ or Matrim. Perhaps they suspected that those people would be protected. Perhaps they had learned Silber's role in PMs. Something is strange here, but I won't be the one to figure it out because I'm going to sleep. Farewell.
  20. "Quid pro quo, the idea of reciprocation, particularly when relating to favors. It seems to be saying that it will answer our questions in exchange for our aid."
  21. "Investiture. Equivalent to energy and mass." This statue was unfamiliar with common terminology, indicating a lack of knowledge concerning Roshar at the very least. Still could be an uninformed entity from another planet, though once a person was worldhopping, they usually knew about most types of Investiture. @Rushu42
  22. Very well. That does make sense, considering that the penalty appears to correspond to the ability. Alright. At least I have confirmation. I suspect that you and TJ have the same power. Concerning Illwei and the extraneous vote manipulation: I can see Illwei lying about being able to soothe a vote as a villager or elim. V: Claiming too much power might get them NK'd. E: Keep info from the village, incentivise paranoia. I can also see Illwei telling the truth as a villager or elim. [To summarise, my opinion on Illwei has not changed, though I would be willing to think better about them.]
  23. It's because I haven't been talking much, the general populace has been blathering on about things of little importance, and I have been engaging in leaps of logic and flights of fancy in order to find suspicions [because no one's talked about things of importance. I'm forced to focus on things of very little importance because they are very important compared to all the other things of little importance, and I've said "little importance" far too much. You are the third person to express suspicion of me. If I get lynched, investigate TJ, Striker, and Illwei. TJ, less so because he had actual reasoning for his suspicions and a playstyle of extreme aggression, but neither Striker nor Illwei have explained their suspicions.
  24. Every time he sees her, he yearns to snatch her away, but he refrains.
  25. She does not remember him, but he remembers her, and it breaks his heart.
