Calano frowns at the clause. "But this says that whoever's name is there, should they see fit to cede control, need only write the name of their succesor in their own hand." He looks up at Lark. "So all that has to happen is you have to write my name, using the appropriate form, and the Treaty will edit itself and I can consult with you to make more changes, to make this as good a process as possible."

Calano tapped the treaty in front of him, "Which of these did you expressly tamper with? The first treatise offers information on how to start to fix it, but I need to know what I'm fixing."

Calano nods, then shoots a quick mental message to Lark (@Nameless) that says Hey, I need you in my office. We need to talk real fast.

Calano shoots back a message, Check inside your desk, there should be one there now.

Calano groans and drags his hands down his face. "I'm going to be here at least a week." "But the thing is, there's a clause in the first treatise that says in order to make changes, one has to fully understand the entire treaty. Which is why i'm making annotations on my oen copy. So I can understand it, and make minor changes, restoring my power over the clinic." Calano began to bang his head on the table. "It's taking forever though."

Calano scribbles something on the treaty, which is now full of scribbles. "Lark said not to do anything drastic. I made a copy of the treaty so I could make my own edits. But I don't feel the need to consult him, at all. Not for his advice. I'll tell him if something happens." He looked up, grinning. Then he yawns. "Yeah, I uh... I didn't really sleep last night." He looks back down and scribbles something. "Couldn't, honestly. There's so much here. I have to find a way."

Calano continues towards the office, "I would like that, as it is quite long and will take quite some time. I should find a way though."

"Good. I'm going to get the treaty out tonight, go over it, see what I can do."

After walking a distance, Calano turns to Emma. "I still don't fully trust him. I'll see what I can do with the treaty, and we need to start planning our wedding." As he said this, Calano couldn't help but smile. He'd asked Emma once before, but Emma had denied him, saying it was too soon, and maybe at some point. So, obviously, Calano was over the moon that Emma finally agreed.

I'll become a therapist here! Hmmm. Well, be a little brave, try and make at least 1-2 friends. People you know will be there for you and you can trust them, and they'll understand if you want to leave and take a break or something. Go slowly, but know that introversion is ok, but friends can still help with that. If you already have friends, but they don't usually go to things you go to, ask them if they trust/know anyone who might be willing to help you out and be your friend. Hope I helped.

"No, we don't want to encourage it, but we also don't want to take it away. At least, not in full. We'll try your method, and in the meantime, find a way to trick the treaty into realizing Lark is an imposter, and I am actually myself. There should be a way, I left some clauses that explain it. I'll look over it." He turned towards his office, "Oh," He said, turning back to Lark, "And my office is mine again. You can have one nearby though, in the Admin Sector, if you're going to be working with us. Don't do anything stupid though."

Calano nodded at Bookwyrm, face solemn. "Yes, it worked. I'm back." "Wizard was holding Emma back because she wanted to very painfully remove Lark's soul from his body and condemn him to eternal torture," Calano responded matter-of-factly, "Mostly because of what Lark did to me and my Clinic. Oh, and Emma's my fiancee now."

"Good." Calano shot back.

"We'll see how it goes." He stood up and walked over to Emma, and kissed her on the forehead. "Calm down, you can tear him apart later."

"We'll find a way." Calano said, then he looked up at Emma, who was clearly struggling to refrain herself from launching herself at Lark. "Calm down, Emma. We were having a talk." "Lark," He said, looking back down, "You and I are gonna have a talk again later about why you can't give me my clinic back, and then we'll try to do it anyway. I have an idea."

Calano leaned in close. "You'd better find a way." He whispered.
