(Yes, you haven't been on the Shard in 8 hours, but still thought I'd let you know and get rid of plausible deniability ). Hmm. Rollover's a bit early and I have things to do, but I should have some time tomorrow. I hope. For now, I'm alright with the A-Train.     You overestimate my brain. I mean someone claiming Elim and Reckoner would be very helpful for me As for where I stand on V!Epics… this is a blackout, and Archer’s claim is very bold for a lie. Not that Archer isn’t in the group of people I’d think could bluff that, but it’s still a long shot. Plus, why not just claim a non-Epic role with the same effect? I want to wait and see what the village could have under its power that isn’t Epics, and if some weirdity happens with flips. I’d go Group A for now. Maybe they’re good, maybe they’re not, but the distinction doesn’t make much mechanical difference. But Archer’s on thin ice. Metaphorically. I’m sure polar bears do alright on ice. Edit: Hi Aman! Hi Illwei! Also Archer, want to join the A-Train on Mat? Mostly a joke but I am curious.

    Idk. That idea about alignments lying to us got stuck in my head, particularly with Archer's claim. Can't really ask if a Vanilla/Roleless TUA is an Epic or not. So why not have the villagers be all Epics and the Elims be all not? Answer: it would fall apart almost immediately because people claim, and enough people claim we hit a Tineye critical mass. But it's fun to think about, and I like people thinking. Also, an Elim claiming they're a Reckoner would make my life a lot easier. Oops. Guess we've got no idea who we are, do we? I'm gonna post this so I can see the next page but I'm probably going to go anyway.

    I’d be a little cautious nitpicking GM PMs. One, GMs are falliable, and Two, we’re not supposed to do that anymore (Mainly just Regular vs Vanilla, but still. Also out of context this sounds like we can’t deduct things about our own alignments. Heh.)

    Great, now I’m getting Reckoners ideas. What about a game like Clue? Elim team, but one Elim is an immortal Epic until their weakness is found, and it has to be mechanically searched for as a representation of 3 (maybe 4) discrete things. There would be a luck factor, and you’d have to figure out a way to balance around 10+ villagers looking at once instead of half that taking turns… has there been a game like that before? Also just a general Reckoners idea: motivators. Can be used to mimic an Epic’s power 2-3 times, but whenever you do 1) the source Elim is roleblocked and 3) they learn who used the motivator. Might work better in games with multiple actions but it’s a thought.

    I totally get that RP isn't everyone's thing, it's just sometimes it feels like it's only my thing. I did have plenty of RP buddies this game. And I have plenty of fun doing analysis when I have the brainpower to actually do analysis. And your Kellehrt RP (let alone that writeup) was on point too! It just felt weird to have Tlag get involved when Kel and Dyring were mostly conversing already and I was trying so desperately to kill you

    So! I do have some thoughts. Or really more just my opinions on what I ended up doing as Tlag the inactive-incharacter, why I did things, etc. I do want to preface this by saying I didn't really have a problem with anything anyone did in the game, personally; although the events of D4 affected me indirectly I made a point of not getting involved in that because, well, that's part of what I'm here to talk about. I'm also going to spoiler box things because, well, I'm writing the first category before this game even started and it's already getting long and in desperate need of paragraph breaks. I'm just going stream-of-consciousness here. But TL:DR, I'm not mad at anyone here, I had a lot of fun this game, and spoilers are just for length and not content / memes. Although I might throw some memes in there. Idk. The Setup The Proposition The Incident(s) The Journey The Critique The Stand The Summary ... well, that's not done. Thank you, Shift+Enter command.     I remember Mage completely reversing the game with his Augury I like it too. Old Gold would be a bit strong if literally anyone could grab it + Pewter.

    I think Gold was the prior turn and Electrum was the current turn? Maybe it changed between 66 and 77. Either way works though.

    RP characters? What are those? I guess I should do something. I’ll be Olsen, aka the Weatherman; an older gentleman who acts as a stakeout man for the Reckoners and has a strong resistance to the cold. Not quite Antarctica-cold, but a lot of cold. And sleep. That too.

    I’d like more Tyrian Falls games and/or adjacent games. They’re fun to play and are pretty easy to join in on. Non-anonymous ones would also be nice for newer players / doing RP. Plus I’d feel a little better about breaking a nine-year curse I do feel like it would be a little weird to run one, as I don’t know how I’d handle something that holds so much… esteem? reverence? in the world of SE, or whether I should work to “put my own spin” on the roles/flavor or just run it how it is. Although more insane distros would certainly come…
