  1. 1: Not only are Sleepless not native to Roshar, there’s only 24 present on Roshar total. And they can mimic larkin leeching, and apparently have a... lot more hordelings than I thought they did. 2: On Hoid: I didn’t even catch the grouping... but that makes a lot if sense. I have a theory one of the Dawnshards could be within Scadrial. Leras “buried” something there, and we never got confirmation he was talking about the atium... My guess is there aren’t four world-ending Dawnshards all on Roshar, but I have no idea where #4 could be.
  2. Got slightly ninja'd by Aspiring Writer here...
  3. I don’t know what I’d have done if I lived... I was mainly focused on the LG. Although I seem to have a problem with people almost making decisions that would save my life... and they all involve Illwei trying to kill me or Illwei not trying to not kill me...

  5. Well, at least I wasn't an Elim for a fourth time in a row this game... and I think I'll appreciate the reminder that you can always be that first kill of the game. And, well, Faleast wasn't getting any Investiture from the Ghostbloods anyway. I appreciate the writeup Elk - his longevity is getting canonized...
  6. I trust TJ - he's less active, but everything he's said makes some level of sense. He's a good analyzer. Vapor... I haven't seen her doing much of anything AI. She's just kind of floating on the edges. Aman's legitimately not on the Shard, Silber's being Silber. Mist is still a possible HI. Wind's made a single post this round. Windrunner Supreme may have only done one as well. Experience is also quiet. ... are you telling me this or telling yourself this? I don't know whether to feel awed or terrified. I guess it's up to the Feruchemist now...
  7. Well, there's not much time left in the cycle... Uh... Who's even left to change the vote to? There's so many people who've made a post or less this cycle, and we've exhausted all our past lynch candidates... except Elk, I guess.
  8. ... you know, that sounds familiar, but I can't find it either. I really wasn't sure what to make of that claim. Turtle having backup was good. That backup being you and Condensation was less good, because of everything that happened around D2 I was fairly sure one of Turtle or Connie was Elim. I still don't really trust Connie, and while I think you're still village I have... questions. Most of which could be hypothetically addressed in our PM if I don't die. And at that point, Turtle claiming Hemalurgist felt like a... cop-out, almost? It's a reason not to kill someone, but it's not a defense of prior actions. Turtle didn't really do much of anything to explain the chaos that happened after she claimed Hemalurgist, and the fact she was one only made her prior actions handling your claim stranger. Meanwhile Reading being a Hemalurgist explained away, to me, most of the reasons he was suspected. In retrospect it's probably not the strongest idea, but there's a lot of things in retrospect that we couldn't have known.
  9. Your main reason was me staying on Turtle because I thought Reading was a Hemalurgist, right?
  10. Er... do we have an hour left or 2 minutes left? Am I done for? Do you have any response to my response to your reasons?
  11. I think I'm usually kind of hedgy especially with lower activity thanks to school and things. As for why I suspected Reading of being a Hemalurgist, I tried to explain it to Illwei here: Essentially, the main reason people were lynching Reading was for saying "doc" once instead of "thread", which people took as a slip referring to the Elim doc. I was wondering if it was instead a slip referring to the Hemalurgist doc, as I feel like Village Hemalurgists would be less cautious with such things in their posts as Elims would normally be. Then looking back to day one, Reading was talking a lot with Turtle (and retrospectively, others like Condensation, another claimed Hemalurgist, and Illwei, who's... I don't even know) about the Hemalurgists, how they should act, how much the HI was a thread, and especially how many Hemalurgists there actually were. I don't know if the number was supposed to be general knowledge to those outside the Hemalurgist doc, but Reading was guessing 3-4 versus the real 6. That's been taken as Elimmy to estimate the number of Elims early, and I thought it would be... Hemalurg-gy to underestimate the number of Hemalurgists. There was something I wanted to add but it's on another page at this point so will edit. Edit: I did edit! I see your Mist and raise you one Elkanah. @Elkanah, I know you're busy with the QF, but I'd like to see your thoughts on all of this. As for Danex... this feels at least logical, even if logic collapses in this game eventually. I don't want to re-kindle the argument here... I feel like Danex isn't Elim. It's an unusual defense, and one that's very reminiscent of a new player. FlyingBooks, on the other hand, hasn't moved much from bandwagoning, and while they've been inactive over the weekend they've visited today. So seeing as Condensation's out I'll come back to them. @Flyingbooks42, do you have any suspicions to share? Now that the lynch is spread fairly evenly, which do you think is the more Elim-like of me or Danex, or should we vote someone else? ( @Straw for the vote Edit)
  12. ... and now I'm back to square one on reads. Yay!
  13. Same here... but I don't know if I'll have time to make a full list. I'll make a decision on Connie tonight, though.
  14. Did Aman actually claim Mistborn, or just that he was gathering information for a Mistborn to possibly use?
  15. The second black section is actually green... I see it too. Edit: well, not that green. This green? Edit Edit: Nope, not darkgreen. Dark Emerald? Dark cyan? A color I can only get from Hex codes that's slightly different from black?
  16. I can answer... some of this. The main reason I stuck on Turtle was less information and more that I thought that Reading was also a Hemalurgist. That would have explained the “doc slip”. Also, he and Turtle were going back and forth a bit about how many Hemalurgists there were, and Reading was very underguessing the actual number. That can be an Elim tell to over/under “estimate” the number of Elims, and I figured it could be a similar tell to Hemalurgist. And if we were going to lynch a Hemalurgist either way, I decided Turtle would show more information on Condensation and you, in addition to vote info. Reading wouldn’t tell us much beyond votes, as he wasn’t active enough. I was also much more keen to stay on a lynch instead of backing away entirely, but that’s mostly besides the point.
  17. Well, that answers my question about Hemalurgists having other roles... I suspect activity will be low due to Halloween, but who knows. I’ll be checking in every once in a while but any big posts from me will have to wait till tomorrow.
  18. ... because if they believe that you’re a (village) Hemalurgist, than lynching you is the last thing they would want to do?
  19. Well, that’s much better and/or worse than I thought. I had thought Reading was also a Hemalurgist... Just a reminder that there can be Village Feruchemists out there. So this just means there’s a Feruchemist who’s highly invested in keeping Turtle alive, not necessarily an Elim one. And if that Feruchemist believes Turtle’s Hemalurgist claim that’s not exactly surprising.
  20. I'm trying to read all of Reading's post but since Turtle put Shard of Reading in his signature I have to sort through three times as many posts... Araris voted on Reading immediately after the Doc Slip, but for other reasons. Elk was first to point it out, Illwei was the first to vote on it. And Reading seems to be active around the beginning before the lynch picks up, then after the lynch candidates are decided, but not actually at rollover. Hmmm... I'll keep my vote on Turtle. I think we get more information that way. I'll probably be mostly inactive until right before rollover... I need to take a Chem test. @ me if you need me.
  21. Hmm. @Amanuensis, how many people told you they'd prefer Turtle to get Mistborned?
  22. Huh. I thought Hemalurgist was just your role. It was still "multiple", and one of those Multiples was Condensation, who Turtle then tried to lynch last cycle. So... I don't like what that implies about Turtle's PM safety.
  23. Hang on a second. If Turtle was a Village Hemalurgist, wouldn't that be a "Loyal Hemalurgist" and not a "Loyal Regular Hemalurgist"? Turtle claims claiming to a "lot" of people, while Aman claims a "lot" of people recommended Turtle as a possible Mistborn target. Depending on the definition of "a lot", it's almost certain that those two groups can exist simultaneously, but that divide's existence is weird. And I feel like there would be more of a reaction from the Claim Group to Aman's revelation of the Nightkill Group. Essentially it's weird how Turtle's polarized everything, and in multiple directions. I haven't received any PMs from either Turtle or Aman, so maybe I'm overthinking it.
  24. ... oh. Well then. Can someone who Turtle's claimed to (outside the Hemalurgist doc... or at least say it was outside the Hemalurgist doc) confirm this? I'd like to have a bit of insurance before I take Turtle's word for it, because it's... not as much a defense and more a don't-kill-me-or-you-will-regret. And it seems to conflict with Aman's claim of finding her as a probable Mistborn target. In other news, I suddenly have much more time to devote to this game...
  25. Er... I haven’t voted yet. I don’t think. I’ll stick a vote on Turtle for now, for stated reasons, a bad gut feeling about their Ventyl vote, and not really saying anything as of late, for defense or reads or otherwise. I’ll take a look at Reading soon. This also just feels... weird. “What if?” It tells us to keep looking at the main lynch pushers and any bandwagon-y votes. It also tells us a bit more about what you’ve previously posted - if you flip Village, we know you’ve probably told the truth. And you’ve been interacting with a lot of people, notably Condensation.
