Ah... The other main reason they’d hold off killing Reading would be to frame Gears, because if Reading died immediately as TLR it would mostly exonerate him. Okay, I’ll move from that. But I’m not sure whether I like a Danex lynch... I’ll have to look back at them.

Gears claims he submitted no action. Your alignments could be non-mutually exclusive, but that’s only in a very specific case. And we need to lynch someone. We have, what, 6 hours? @Matrim's Dice, can I get a vote count?

"Currently has business?" the young Epic inquired. "Like a birthday party or a stickbug? and you like honeydew, I like it, but Melons definitely taste better. I mean, anything would taste good, I haven't even ate in four days now, I mean everyone expects an epic to never run out of food, but I definitely did." Oh, I give up. "Blockade's business is his own. Even I'm not sure what he's doing. If I had to guess he's still reinforcing the field, to prevent anyone from breaking it and blowing up the whole sparking city," he growled. Blockade's fields had a tendency to do that if broken. Something about releasing the energy that made them up. Normally it was just another gimmick of his commander's powers, but on a city-wide field breaking it could level the ground for miles. Which was one reason he was itching to take flight, leave this child behind, and figure out what the Calamity was happening in Moonglow's territory. Then he realized one part of what the kid said. She hasn't eaten in four days? Couldn't she just steal food from... literally anyone? An Epic without a home... forget a place and people to rule, without even either to call their own. Could that even exist? Every Epic he'd met took what they want, who they wanted. Cities, providences, islands, drug stores; slaves, guards, workers, even strange facsimiles of friendship. Or they prevented anyone else from having, either. But this girl didn't seem like those types. Hmm. He re-housed his wrist rotors. "What's your name?"

I'm so confused. Hmm. Let's try something. @Gears, convince me why Shard of Reading should be lynched and not you. @Shard of Reading, convince me why Gears should be lynched and not you. Why are those lines two different sizes...

Books is an interesting kill... although most of my attempts to understand Elim kills end in failure. But, this makes things complicated. Was Turtle just going rogue? Was someone influencing him? Do we still think Elim!Gears was Roleblocked, or that Reading is TLR or an Elim? Too many questions.

Moving from Gears to Turtle. I don't have RoW, so... I'll be around.

So, why did you decide to tell people that Quinn was roleblocked when you read my PM saying Gears was roleblocked at 4:56 PM PST yesterday? Because according to @eltruT the PM in question was sent about an hour later. @Ghanderflaffle, @Channelknight Fadran, your statements put together are contradictory. Resolve this or I will assume one of you is needlessly lying and therefore an Elim, and I am entirely willing to lynch the both of you.

Danex's entire intention was to build a way for us to know who was roleblocked and is an Elim-killer candidate (Gears) without forcing the roleblocker to claim. An intention I think is highly valid. I don't see how the possible misuse of his system by anyone would incriminate him more than the misusers (Ghander, Turtle, Fadran).

Okay, because he read a PM from me saying it was Gears at about the same time. And we won't know which was first until about a day when it lists the minutes. I don't know if Turtle and Ghander are working together, but I'm fairly confident there's an Elim in one of Gears or Ghander.

So did Ghander send two different messages to two different people? Can you tell me when in time? (Actually, is that allowed? It's not quoting but PMs are iffy.)

When did you send him this PM? And @Channelknight Fadran, when did you get the PM about saying Quinn was roleblocked? @Ghanderflaffle, even though he's been inactive for most of this.

Elim asks how roleblocks are put in writeup Elim learns they are put as "was attacked but survived" Elim does a WGG Elim learns who all the roleblockers are Elim murders them all ??? Profit

(Remember that you can't use outside sources to encode/decode these things. So no plugging it into a web page or code block to translate. You gotta do it by what you know.)

Okay, I can confirm I got PM'd by Quinn saying Gears was roleblocked. I can also confirm that Turtle sent me a PM about an hour ago saying Gears was roleblocked... make of that what you will. That being said... isn't the point of this whole mess NOT to immediately tell everyone who they PM'd and got PM'd from? Edit: No, I PM'd Quinn. I don't like PMs. They're confusing.

It's a risk, yes. But it's better to narrow down the possible Elim killer to as few people as possible.

I highly doubt all the Elims would commit themselves to the same venture. It's a fantastic way to get all the Elims outed when it goes south. (And it ALWAYS goes south.) Edit: I'm just going to play the next few games as "the Elim expert", aren't I...

I think the plan should work. There have been similar things in games past.

The problem with saying "Elims wouldn't do this" is that a lot of players as Elims (myself included) go out of their way to act as Village as possible, even if it loses them opportunities to gain valuable intel or save other Elims. Often the long-term trust is worth the short-term loss. That being said, I like the overall idea. I'd also add that doing it "immediately" may cause problems - both feasibility (not everyone's on at the same time) and hackability (i.e. lists can be narrowed down if people aren't viewing the thread or active). So maybe stagger it a random amount (like not several hours, but from immediately to a few minutes to half an hour).

I've... seen that happen before, but I'm not entirely sure why it's more effective than just PM'ing a single person... oh. Have the roleblocker say it's not the first in the chain. Duh. Yeah, do that. PM chain a few times over.
